Chicago Children Inform Barack Obama ‘We Want to Live!’

It was the South Side of Chicago — city of meat slicing machine mishaps, 9½-fingered mayors like Rahm Emanuel and childhood home to Michelle “Hadiya Pendleton was me and I was her” Obama.

The Chicago children were given a lesson plan that is sure to add even more drama to Barack Obama’s ongoing effort to wrest legal firearms out of the hands of law-abiding American citizens.

At Freedom Schools National Day of Social Action hosted by Trinity United Church of Christ, the church that Obama’s former minister Jeremiah “America’s Chickens are Coming Home to Roost” Wright once headed, Chicago children spent the day telling personal gut-wrenching death and destruction stories.

In a city where gun laws are strict and gun-related deaths are at unprecedented levels, dead cousins and aunts were mourned and heartbreaking tales of woe told.

The program coordinator, Minister Jasmine Taylor, maintained that dragging out vulnerable children whose lives were touched by gun violence to assist liberal politicians in furthering progressive policies, in the end, helps children heal.

Minister Jasmine shared:

“I think they’re able to connect better when they’re in a group of their peers, learning and talking about the things they’ve had go on in their families and their experiences.”

And if at some point these stories can be woven into an anti-Second Amendment speech delivered by a quivering-lipped Barack or Michelle Obama, all the better.

The day of social action was chock full of anti-gun-related activities.  The children were read poetry, and then were given a drum demonstration, which was an odd choice.  Wouldn’t a piccolo concert have been better than subjecting already-spooked children to a rat-a-tat-tat that sounds a lot like the pop of a gun?

Then, although purely as a cathartic experience, in the style of the children who wrote to the president about gun violence and then attended the signing of 23 executive actions establishing stricter gun control, these children also gave Obama additional fodder for… er, I mean, explained to the Protector of [only] Wanted Children their desire to live.

As an aside, it’s too bad unborn babies can’t write similar letters to Obama expressing their desire to live.

Nonetheless, looking to President Obama to ensure that they do get to live, the children expressed future hopes and dreams, if, and only if, Barack Obama does allow them to live.

Some of those dreams include becoming a doctor (shackled like a slave to the Obamacare system), a police officer (castrated by the DOJ), the President (if, that is, by the time they grow up Obama has lifted Martial Law and finally left office), a princess (like Michelle Obama), and a man of God (like Liberation Theologist/anti-Semite/America-hating racist, the ex-reverend Jeremiah Wright).

So America now has something to look forward to.

In the future, sure to be woven into the next anti-gun speech, will be excerpts from letters written by Chicago children to the President of the United States demanding that elected officials “protect children” (who could have been, but miraculously were not aborted), “not guns,” nor the Second Amendment.

Look who else is under the bus – American Thinker – May 19, 2010

Jeremiah Wright made a career of throwing America under the bus. Now in an ironic twist of fate, Reverend Wright has been flung under the wheels of the jitney and flattened by none other than Barack Obama. The pastor emeritus of Trinity United Church of Christ is not only “toxic,” but considered “radioactive” by spiritual son, Barack Obama.

Desiring to climb to the pinnacle of the Windy City’s political machine Barry Soetero was drawn toward Jeremiah Wright’s congregation and its politically connected pastor.  Barry and Michelle were married by Wright and both Sasha and Malia were baptized by the notorious preacher.

Barack willingly sat under Wright’s ministry for 20 years. In other words, Obama advanced politically in Southside Chicago by boarding the controversial Jeremiah Wright gospel bus and rode that bus all the way to the nomination for President of the United States.

It’s undeniable, Barack Obama used Reverend Wright.  Yet Wright, who had no problem exploiting the pulpit to deride America, promote anti-Semitism and misconstrue Scripture to further a racist agenda, seems to resent being exploited himself.

During the campaign, Senator Obama severed the relationship with Jeremiah Wright claiming to be unaware of “incendiary remarks” the reverend had been making for the two decades the Obama’s tithed to Wright’s church.  Either Obama attended or didn’t attend Trinity United Church of Christ, heard the sermons or didn’t hear the sermons, but true to form, Obama wanted it both ways.

Political expediency originally drew Barack to Wright’s congregation and political expediency was the impetus for Barack to hurl Reverend Wright under the bus.

Tire tracks soiling his Africana vestments, and two years after the split began, Wright wrote the president of Africa 6000 International saying,

No one in the Obama administration will respond to me, listen to me, talk to me or read anything that I write to them. I am ‘toxic’ in terms of the Obama administration.I am ‘radioactive,’ Sir. When Obama threw me under the bus, he threw me under the bus literally! Any advice that I offer is going to be taken as something to be avoided. Please understand that!

Those whiny words were written by Reverend Wright to Joseph Prischak, president of Africa 6000 International in response to Prischak’s requesting Wright help petition funds to assist earthquake ravaged Haiti. Subsequently Wright agreed to write a letter to Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner on behalf of Africa 6000 to try to get “access to millions of dollars in interest held in an overseas account.”

Jeremiah Wright spent years building a ministry based on “divisive and destructive” language and Obama enthusiastically occupied a pew weekly absorbing the preacher’s disparaging diatribes.  As a result, feeling that an association with Wright jeopardized his political career; Obama did not hesitate to label the former pastor both, “divisive and destructive.”

Obama rode along for years while Wright threw America under the bus, Sunday after seditious Sunday. Faithful congregant Barack Obama learned well if the United States of America can be thrown under the bus, why not toss a toxic hot potato under there too if need be?

Now Jeremiah Wright finds himself relegated to a lowly position, under the wheels of the bus, right alongside the nation the pastor taught Barry to despise.

Hey Reverend, how does it feel?

State of the Union Smoking Seminar

Watching Barack Obama’s first State of the Union address was like attending an anti-smoking seminar led by a spokesperson that takes intermittent smoke breaks. Obama chided, corrected and set out moral commands—none of which the President adheres to himself.

If followed in logical succession, the contradictions embodied in the State of Union were nothing less than stunning.  Obama treated America to seventy-one minutes of lies, half-truths, poor policy proposals and revisionist history, all things the nation has come to expect from our historic president.  Even more astonishing then the job bill, student loan and “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell” propositions was the President’s incongruous statements addressing political etiquette.

Woven throughout his misleading and deluded statements Obama graduated to unprecedented heights of insincerity.   For all intents and purposes, Obama set about collecting Newports and Virginia Slims in the chamber and then left the emergency exit open where those who hesitantly relinquished cigarettes witnessed Barry toking filterless Camels.

Take for instance the absurdity of Obama calling on George W. Bush to assist the Haiti Relief Fund. In the Rose Garden and in a show of solidarity Obama portrayed a united front with his predecessor.  Yet, at the State of the Union, Obama lit up under the No Smoking sign and dragged out ole’ Georgie to serve as fall guy for year of presidential inadequacy.

In one breath, Obama appointed Bush half a presidential team to oversee Haiti relief. In the next breath, Barack depicted Bush as an inept “torturer” devoid of values, solely responsible for “… two wars, an economy rocked by a severe recession, a financial system on the verge of collapse and a government deeply in debt.”

Either Obama doesn’t recall what he says and does, or the President believes Americans lack the ability to draw a parallel between words and actions.

America should be reminded that Reverend Jeremiah Wright, an anti-Semite, racist preacher of the “Gospel” mentored Barack Obama. Barry spent twenty years at Oxymoronic University sitting under the tutelage of Right Reverend Wrong.  In the State of the Union homily Reverend Obama lectured on “peace and harmony,” then undermined the concepts in classic Trinity United Church of Christ-style.

Obama took repeated swats at Bush, the Senate, the Supreme Court and even members of Congress and then segwayed directly into chiding those who received presidential reproofs on how politicians should treat one and other.  Sorry, but one remark juxtaposed against the other reveals Obama’s state of mind borders on psychotic. Doesn’t Obama know that when teaching smoking cessation, you need to remove the nicotine patch before going out back to sneak in a couple of butts?  Overdosing on carcinogens has been proven to affect clear thinking.

For a decision upholding 1st amendment rights, the supposed Constitutional scholar openly chastised Supreme Court judges like unruly kindergarteners. Immediately following, the President steered the conversation toward righteous moralization. Barack subjected ensnared judges to “winner” statements like,  “We can’t wage a perpetual campaign where the only goal is to see who can get the most embarrassing headlines about the other side – a belief that if you lose, I win.”

“In the double bind there are two conflicting levels of communication and an injunction against commenting on the conflict.” Obama’s erratic statements are on par with a parent sending conflicting messages to schizophrenic offspring.

At the State of the Union, Obama repeatedly dragged out a bloody G.W. from behind the podium depicting Bush as irresponsible, thoughtless and negligent.  Obama strongly suggested America’s financial battle had its genesis in Bush’s, “recklessness that nearly brought down our entire economy.” Then, Obama followed up his critical statements with petitions for political unity,

Washington may think that saying anything about the other side, no matter how false, no matter how malicious, is just part of the game.  But it’s precisely such politics that has stopped either party from helping the American people.  Worse yet, it’s sowing further division among our citizens, further distrust in our government.

In the address Barack Obama also hinted at Bush’s indecency and weakness saying, “In this new decade, it’s time the American people get a government that matches their decency; that embodies their strength.” Obama implied Bush’s administration was both secretive and unaccountable saying, “…when we took that program [financial rescue program] over we made it more transparent and more accountable.” Can anyone say C-Span?

After mortifying Bush, and less than twenty-minutes later, Obama vowed to “start anew, to carry the dream forward, and to strengthen our union once more.”

Obama did not leave out of the tirade self-rewarding CEO’s, or bankers risking America’s future for what the pious president defines as “selfish gain.”  The president included lobbyists “gaming the system” and politicians, other than himself, who “tear each other down instead of lifting this country up.”

The “working to change the tone of politics” President shared that “Just saying no to everything may be good short-term politics, but it’s not leadership.  We were sent here to serve our citizens, not our ambitions.” [Ahem]. After rebuking the crowd, Obama urged the same lousy, self-serving, ruthless politicians to work with him to “show the American people that we can do it together.”

Obama spoke to “smokers” at the seminar and then borrowed a lighter, excusing himself from kicking a habit he refuses to shake. The truest statement Obama made, while fostering a State of Disunion was, “I don’t quit!”   America is choking because every time Obama speaks a duplicitous scolding follows, then the President inhales deeply and blows second-hand smoke straight into the nations’s face.

The sanctimonious spreader of “quit-it,” refuses to do what he demands from everyone else. Hey Barry, “No wonder there’s so much cynicism out there. No wonder there’s so much disappointment.”
