Is Joy Behar sure that hearing God’s voice means you’re crazy?

It’s beginning to be glaringly apparent that those on the left cannot recognize the absurd double standard that exists in almost everything they say.  On one day, a specific kind of logic applies to one scenario.  Then, the next day, those same people mock the logic that was offered as gospel the day before.

Take for instance the liberal notion that stricter gun laws prevent mass shootings.  If that’s true, then why do the same individuals who demand restrictions on gun ownership also claim that if access to abortion is limited, women looking to terminate a pregnancy will find a way to kill babies in back alleys?

Liberals refute themselves when discussing people, too.  Those on the left will vilify a political figure they disagree with for behavior that one month prior they celebrated in one of their own.

A recent example of this kind of hypocrisy took place on The View, when one of the president’s most vocal critics decided that Mike Pence is “mentally ill.”  It happened during a “hot topics” segment, when a tape of disgruntled ex-Trump White House staffer and former Apprentice star Omarosa Manigault Newman aired dirty laundry in the company of her Celebrity Big Brother competitors.

A supposed lover of Jesus, Omarosa counseled the group:

As bad as you think Trump is, you would be worried about Pence.  Everyone that is wishing for impeachment might want to reconsider their life.  I am Christian, I love Jesus, but [Pence] thinks Jesus tells him to say things.

In the clip, Ms. Newman referred to Pence as “extreme,” which, ironically, is the kind of disciple Scripture demands.

Nevertheless, upon hearing Omarosa’s critical remarks, The View crew, who regularly pan Trump, responded to Omarosa’s fodder like a pack of salivating wolves.

Co-host and self-described “faithful … Catholic” Sunny Hostin expressed negative feelings about Pence because, Hostin said, when the vice president was governor of Indiana, he was a “hated figure” who tended to put a “religious veneer” on things.  No one knows whether Mr. Pence ever claimed to speak in tongues, but that didn’t stop Hostin from pontificating, “I don’t know that I want my vice president, you know, speaking in tongues and having Jesus speak to him.”

Although Hillary Clinton regularly “communed” with Eleanor Roosevelt, the female panel agreed that having a leader who thinks he hears Jesus’s voice is a problem.  Apparently, that consensus didn’t go far enough; Joy Behar had to take things a step farther when she offered up a psychiatric diagnosis based on Pence hearing Jesus’s voice, which Behar said is synonymous with “mental illness.”

The View co-host told the other ladies, “It’s one thing to talk to Jesus.  It’s another thing when Jesus talks to you.  That’s called mental illness if I’m not correct, hearing voices.”

Behar couldn’t leave it at that.  Instead, she continued by making a sarcastic reference to the wisdom Pence exercises concerning male-female relationships in the age of #MeToo.  Joy, who was photographed once grabbing the late Robin Williams’s crotch, continued by asking, “My question is, can he talk to Mary Magdalene without his wife in the room?”

Joy Behar’s remark was not only discriminatory, but perplexing, especially coming from a Muslim apologist.

Why?  Because in November of 2017, after writing the book The Great Gasbag: An A-to-Z Guide to Surviving Trump World, while appearing on MSNBC’s Morning Joe, Behar said she penned the survival guide “Because [she was] being told by God to save this country.”

In other words, just three months before calling Mike Pence “mentally ill,” Joy Behar admitted that God spoke to her and that she wrote a book in response to conversation she had with the Almighty.  Behar might not have realized it, but by calling Pence “mentally ill,” she tacitly admitted that her book about the “Great Gasbag” was inspired by a questionable psychological state.

Then again, let’s remember that based on the political expediency of what is said, liberals do tend to vacillate between condemnation and adoration.  Leftist shills like Joy Behar practice political pragmatism at its finest.

Nevertheless, by labeling Pence psychologically unfit, Behar may have talked herself into apolitical corner, especially if The View airs the clip of Oprah’s 60 Minutes Overtime interview on CBS’s This Morning.

In that conversation, Oprah, a woman Joy Behar feels is capable of beating the “Great Gasbag,” is asked by CBS senior producer Ann Silvio if the rumors of a presidential bid are true.  During the sit-down, Oprah revealed that after the Cecil B. de Mille Award speech she gave at the 75th Annual Golden Globe Awards, “wealthy men began calling to tell her to run and that they’d raise $1-billion to help her campaign.”

Winfrey told the curious correspondent, “I think that when you have that many people whose opinions you value coming at you, it’s worthy of thinking about.”

Then the billionaire mogul uttered something Joy Behar needs to think about before reaffirming her desire to have the Big O “run the world.”  Oprah clarified that despite all the offers from affluent men, “[she’s] never looked outside for other people to tell [her] when [she] should be making a move.”

Unsure whether a run for the White House is the direction she should take, Winfrey matter-of-factly asked Silvio, “If God actually wanted me to run, wouldn’t God kind of tell me?”  Then the former talk show host announced, “And I haven’t heard that.”

Not to burst the “Oprah-4-President” bubble, but based on Joy’s assessment of Pence, doesn’t the great black hope for foolproof victory over Donald Trump measure up to Behar’s “mentally ill” yardstick?

With that in mind, Jesus is probably still whispering political directives into the View co-host’s ear.  The dutiful follower that she is, Joy obeys, and “saves this country,” by continuing to embody the liberal mindset, whose inconsistent statements ensure that the “Great Gasbag” and his “mentally ill” vice president will run America for another seven years.

Loving women to death

Newly appointed head of the Democratic National Committee and Democrat attack dog, Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL), the woman who has built a reputation on the left for casting aspersions on behalf of female injustice, recently made a blanket statement that all pro-life Republicans are “anti-woman.”

According to Wasserman Schultz, Republicans that seek to save the lives of the unborn, approximately half of whom are female, are indicative of an “extremely radical social agenda” on par with waging “war on women.” For liberals, saving life is radical ending life is not.

Debbie has a laissez-faire attitude when it comes to flinging around anti-woman indictments.   Recently, she accused newly elected Congressman Allen West (R-FL) of wearing “extreme disrespect [towards women] as a badge of honor.” Based on Allen West’s opposition to funding and providing access to abortion, Wasserman Schultz expressed the opinion that the Debbie-defined “right wing extremist” thinks it’s “ok to objectify and denigrate women.”

West falls into the pro-life group in Congress whose goal is to “stop funding abortions and Planned Parenthood,” which is the reason the DNC chair is on an all-out rant against what she deems to be a Republican “He-Man Woman Haters Club,” and therein lies the dichotomy of the left. According to politicians like Wasserman Schultz, in order to be pro-woman you have to be willing to kill preborn women.

Everybody knows the way to express love for the fairer sex is to make sure fetuses with XX chromosomes are afforded unhindered contact with saline, suction and scalpels. That type of twisted logic is endemic to a large portion of the Democrat Party, many of whom believe, like Debbie, that how pro-life a person is determines how great their level of anti-female sentiment.

According to John McCormack’s article in the Weekly Standard entitled “DNC Chair: Republicans Are Waging a ‘War on Women,’” Congresswoman Wasserman Schultz finds it “hard …to grasp how [Republicans] can be as anti-woman as they are.”

Wasserman Schultz is buoyed by the notion that “pushback” from female voters and a “guttural reaction from women” will be the negative reaction against the Republican pro-life agenda. Ms. Wasserman Schultz believes that funding the killing of unborn females will not only “restore,” but will also help Democrats “exceed the president’s margin of victory in the next election.”  Think of it as the Democrats’ promotion of death breathing new life into Obama’s campaign.

If the DNC Chair’s irrational ‘We Prove we Love Women by Killing Them Before They’re Born’ argument wasn’t enough to expose insanity on the left, Debbie Wasserman Schultz contradicted her own line of reasoning by saying the pro-life-voting Democrats are not “anti-women,” because to be anti-woman you also need to be Republican.

According to McCormack’s article, Debbie said the reason “pro-life Democrats were not also anti-women was because they voted ‘not to defund Planned Parenthood,’” which is not true. The 10 renegade Democrats given a pass actually supported the Pence Amendment to de-fund America’s largest and most respected abortion mill.

Either way, Wasserman Schultz chooses not to judge based on one bill.  The Congresswoman would rather take into consideration “the balance of [a] record.” For Debbie Wasserman Schultz, “one individual isolated vote here” and there does not an “anti-woman” Democrat make.

Thus, DNC Debbie exempts pro-life Democrats based on their “record as a whole,” which means that only Republicans expressing unwavering commitment to human life, male and female, born and unborn, fall into the category of evil denigrators who objectify and disrespect women.

Thus, when zealots like DNC Debbie enthusiastically preach the abortion gospel, it’s easy to see that the left’s fanaticism has completely eradicated logic. Debbie Wasserman Schultz seems firmly convinced that saving lives is anti-woman and killing the unborn is pro-woman.  A similar mentality drives those who work to save the planet while fighting for the right to exterminate the people who were destined to inhabit the planet.

Therefore, perverted logic makes Debbie Wasserman Schultz, when not out railing against the skewed priorities of pro-life Republicans, the perfect candidate to campaign for female-friendly Barack Obama’s bid for reelection. The Chair of the DNC can offer assurance to female voters nationwide that, unlike woman-haters Mike Pence (R-IN) and the “extremely disrespectful” Allen West (R-FL), President Obama would remain true to his commitment to never burden a woman’s “original decision to induce labor and perform an abortion,” and continue to extend unwavering support for women by loving them to death.

Granny Jan nails it again.

Pelosi’s Planned Parenthood War

Originally posted at American Thinker blog

For peaceniks, Democrats sure have no trouble throwing the word “war” around. Jesse Jackson compared the budget impasse to the civil war and Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi believes her colleagues across the aisle have declared “war on women.”

House Speaker John Boehner promised religious leaders he would “win the war not just win a battle” over Planned Parenthood and abortion. After all, someone has to have the temerity to step forward, pull the plug on the death camps and discontinue funding organizations that pretend to care for women in one room while killing offspring in another.

Scripture quoter and crusader for the aged and reproductive rights, Nancy Pelosi sees the Republicans’ fight to defund Planned Parenthood as a “war,” and to defend abortion she seems more than willing to lace up her combat boots.

At the Feminist Majority Foundation’s Women, Money and Power Summit, Nancy Pelosi clarified the dispute: “Abortion is one issue, but contraception and family planning and birth control are opposed by this crowd too. We have a big fight on our hands, in terms of respect for women, and … what is right for our country in terms of our family decisions, in terms of Medicaid and Medicare. We have to create a drumbeat across America.”

Kindly old Grandmother Nancy Pelosi believes “respect for women…and…what is right for our country” is why Americans should be forced to bankroll an organization that destroys the lives of future Americans.  Majorette Nancy proposes the creation of “a drumbeat across America” on behalf of fetal genocide.  Well if ever there was a quintessentially American cause, Grandma, apple pie and funding Planned Parenthood is certainly it!

According to Nancy, the supposed war on postnatal women began earlier this year when Mike Pence (R-IN) audaciously proposed a bill in the House to cut off 40 years of funding to Planned Parenthood.  The Congress made it clear that Republicans were done coercing moral people to pay for ethically repugnant abortion procedures that cost taxpayers $363 million a year and in 2009 ended the lives of 332,278 Americans.

Thus far John Boehner (R-Ohio) has said that in the budget fight his caucus has not backed “down from [their] efforts to defund Planned Parenthood.” However, Boehner admitted abortion is “a major sticking point in budget negotiations between the House GOP” and a pro-choice White House.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and Barack continue to use abortion as protective armor to preserve a radical voting base, and do so with the approving applause of a political party more than willing to go to war for the right to fund America’s most celebrated abortion mill.

In the interim, Nancy apparently felt moved to officially anoint herself St. Nancy de Abortion Rights. Pelosi is speaking out and has rallied a brigade of warmongering females ready to follow her into battle. Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) declared that refusing to fund Planned Parenthood is “the functional equivalent of bombing innocent civilians.”

The Republican budget rider that prevents DC from spending money on abortion for poor women was met by an “absolutely outraged” Norton, who also said it’s time DC told the “Congress to go straight to hell.”

Holmes said: “If …Republicans insist that, if they don’t get the whole pie they’ll take the whole country down with them…then we have got to make them pay the price.” Whoa Ellie!

There you have it – on behalf of the abortion “pie,” Nancy and company are more than willing to subject Americans to “paying the price” and the “hell” of a protracted political war, if winning makes certain that Planned Parenthood funding continues.
