ISIS — ‘If It Doesn’t Fit, You Must Acquit’

SimpsonOriginally posted at American Thinker

Barack Obama steadfastly refuses to identify radical Islam as the driving force behind the mayhem massacring its way through the Middle East and nearing Europe with an eye toward America. With shovels in hand, blades sharpened, and petrol cans filled to the brim, it feels as if the enemies of all that is good and holy have been given an unspoken approbation to accomplish their malevolent ends.

The most disturbing thing about that scenario is that approval to do so has been subtly granted by a malicious president whose lack of outspoken condemnation can only be interpreted as unspoken commendation.

The only way to describe how infuriating and confusing the current state of affairs is in America is to imagine how it would feel to be in a courtroom with a serial killer who murdered someone you love. Then imagine hearing the judge, without explanation, slam down the gavel, drop all the charges, and allow the killer to go free. After hearing the judge’s verdict, then imagine the psychopath turning, locking eyes with you, winking, and giving the stunned courtroom an evil grin.

Although a harsh comparison, it’s not so far-fetched when discussing the lack of castigation Barack Obama has expressed for serial killers such as Kermit Gosnell, the late-term abortion doctor who snipped the spinal cords of full-term, born-alive babies in his Philadelphia clinic.

In Obama’s world, beheading whimpering babies’ in the name of choice is apparently an acceptable activity.

On the international level, the president, no fan of Israel, has also refused to condemn Palestinian terrorists who threw a Molotov cocktail at a car full of Israelis merely because they were Jewish. Sitting in a seat of self-exalted judgment, Obama is also perversely tepid in his criticism of Iran, a nation that has made it clear that once secret negotiations with the White House are complete and they have the bomb they’ve been dreaming of, they will immediately commence attempting to wipe the Jewish nation off the face of the earth.

If one observes closely, Obama’s opinion is made evident not only in what he says, but in what he doesn’t say.

Already proving that if he can sully the reputations of political enemies, law enforcement officials, crusading right-wing extremist “bitter clinger” Christians, or land-grabbing Israeli Jews, Obama is more than willing to have his gavel come down on the side of the guilty.

Yet if the opportunity arises to condemn the alleged killer of innocent Muslims or to presume innocence based solely on race or ethnicity, Obama can be counted on to seize it.

Meanwhile, 21 Coptic Christians were martyred on a Libyan beach and Barack Hussein took almost four days, $2.5 million, and a completed golf trip to acknowledge that the blood that seeped into the sand and sea flowed from the headless bodies of ‘People of the Cross.’

As for the Jews killed in a Paris market, Obama referred to them as a “bunch of folks in a deli in Paris… randomly” shot to death by “a bunch of violent vicious zealots.”

For most, it’s disheartening that the President of the United States reduces murdered Jews to “a bunch of folks in a deli” and turns their executioners, shouting “Allahu Akbar,” into “a bunch of violent vicious zealots.”

Therefore, irate would be a mild term to describe the indignation many Americans feel as injustices are meted out over and over again by a president whose philosophical leaning seems to be to exonerate the guilty at the expense of the innocent.

And as inexplicable an attitude as that might be to some, while referring to another famous murder trial in a 2008 interview on ABC Barack Obama gave a glimpse into the reason he refuses to condemn the likes of genocidal jihadists and instead chooses to disparage our ally Israel and write friendly letters to the Ayatollah of Iran.

On ABC’s “Nightline”, then-candidate Obama spoke to Terry Moran about race relations and said this:

You remember when, during the O.J. trial… black and white culture just had these completely opposite reactions and nobody understood it. I’m somebody who was pretty clear that O.J. was guilty.

So the president thought it was “pretty clear that O.J. was guilty.”

But then Obama admitted:

And I was ashamed for my own community to respond in that way, but I also understood what was taking place, which was that reaction had more to do with a sense that somehow the criminal justice system historically had been biased so profoundly that a defeat of that justice system was somehow a victory.

How’s that for insight into why President Obama, in the name of fair-mindedness, has habitually been on the side of unfairness for the last six years?

The president seemed to say that although shameful, the black community’s reaction to the O.J. verdict was justified and his acquittal was some kind of recompense for a justice system that has been “historically biased.” So according to Barack Obama’s twisted sense of social justice, a butcher who nearly beheaded two people successfully beating the justice system and getting away with murder is a victory against profound historical bias.

So when Barack Obama writes in an op-ed regarding the White House Summit on Violent Extremism that terrorists whose religion he refuses to name have “legitimate grievances” against those he views as oppressors, his shameful non-reaction to beheading, shooting, burning, and threatening to unleash a nuclear bomb on Israel starts to make sense.

It also explains why, just like irrelevant shrunken gloves took center stage at the O.J. trial, while Islamic terrorists burn 45 Kurds alive in cages, domestic terrorists and homegrown violent extremists are being talked about at yet another useless White House “summit.”

Clearly, what’s at work here is that, in Barack Obama’s mind, Judaism and Christendom, in all their white and oftentimes European glory, have always been biased against Islam.  Therefore, regardless of how much barbarism and blood is required to defeat those powerful institutions, with a wink and an evil grin an arrogant Barack Obama believes that ISIS, like O.J., merits a belated victory.

Kermit Gosnell’s son shot burglarizing a neighbor’s home

The 22-year-old son of former late-term abortionist/convicted murderer Kermit Gosnell, Barron Alexander, was shot while allegedly burglarizing a West Philadelphia home.

Gosnell the elder is currently serving three life sentences for three murders and more than 200 counts of violating Pennsylvania’s abortion laws, which may be why his offspring preferred not to be identified with his father. To put distance between himself and the Gosnell label, young Barron recently changed his surname to Alexander.

With Kermit in jail and the cash flow cut off, Barron Alexander, has seemingly turned to criminal tendencies to keep the money flowing. That’s why, if convicted of robbery, burglary and aggravated assault, all of which he’s been charged with, Barron will follow in Dad’s footsteps to occupying a prison cell.

According to West Philly police, Alexander was critically injured after breaking a bathroom window behind a house at 7:00 in the morning. Clearly exhibiting a fearless nature like his father, who carried on performing illegal abortions for years, Barron set his sights on a house just two doors down from where he lived, and ironically just blocks from the abortion mill where his Dad snipped the spinal cords of living babies for money.

Capt. John Przepiorka of Southwest Detectives said that when Barron entered a home occupied by three roommates, “The resident screamed for help, a second male, a second resident from that property came to assist him.” Gosnell the younger was blasted two- to three times with a handgun.

After being shot, a bloodied Alexander stumbled out into the street where the critically-wounded son of the late-term abortionist collapsed. A folding pocketknife and a wallet belonging to one of Barron’s victims, along with a wad of cash, was found on the front steps of the home.

Mr. Alexander is listed in critical but stable condition and is expected to survive.

Utah woman kills and stores seven newborns

Police in Utah recently made a discovery in a Pleasant Grove home they’ll likely never forget. It appears that, over the course of a decade, 39-year-old Megan Huntsman delivered seven full-term infants. The gruesome twist is that Huntsman allegedly killed six of the children after they were born alive, and then stored their bodies in boxes in the home’s garage.

Megan Huntsman’s behavior is reminiscent of the late Orem, Utah, mother that covertly gave birth three times and then left the infants to die. In 1999, Darcie Jo Baum bled to death after delivering an infant son in a basement toilet where she left him struggling in vain to survive. Too late to save Darcie Jo and her three babies, Utah instituted a Safe Haven law in 2001, which, if Megan had been unselfish enough to spare their lives, could have saved six human beings.

The Safe Haven law enables biological parents to anonymously relinquish custody of the newborns without the threat of being prosecuted.

Instead of choosing life and anonymity,  alleged serial killer Huntsman chose to consign at least six of her children to a fate the Safe Haven law was enacted to prevent.

As a result, Megan Huntsman is accused of delivering the children, systematically killing them one-by-one, placing them into cardboard boxes, and storing their frail frames like gardening tools or old books in the garage of a house she hasn’t lived in for three years.

In anticipation of moving back into the house owned by his parents for the summer, Megan’s ex-husband Darren West came by to clean up the garage, which is when the gruesome discovery was made. It was Darren who called the police.

Recently released from prison, the police responded to West’s call and after searching the property found one full-term infant inside the woman’s home, there since 2011, that appeared to be stillborn. According to police Capt. Michael Roberts, six dead infants were then discovered packaged up and stored in the garage.

Megan Huntsman and Darren West have three daughters together aged 18, and 20 and 13 years old. The three girls still live in the house where the babies were found. DNA testing is underway to determine whether Mr. West is also the biological father of the seven, count them, seven dead babies.

After the bodies were discovered, Megan, who other than a 2011 driving citation has no criminal record, was taken into custody and accused of six counts of murder. Following her arrest, Huntsman admitted to strangling or suffocating six of the infants. Her bail is set at $6 million, $1 million for each count of murder.

Longtime neighbor Sharon Chipman told police that she had noticed Megan gaining and losing weight over the years but never surmised that she might have been pregnant. Chipman was shocked calling Megan a great neighbor whom she trusted to watch her toddler grandson for years.

“She took good care of him. She was good. This really shocks me,” she said.

Aaron Hawker, Huntsman’s next-door neighbor, also never suspected Huntsman of being pregnant. Mr. Hawker described the mother with the six dead babies in the garage as a great neighbor, and her ex husband (the one who found, may have fathered the children, and who is not being accused of any crime) as “a good guy.”

Clearly after baby number three, Megan exercised unconventional measures in planning her parenthood. After all, in the minds of the Planned Parenthood crowd the desire is that “every child…be a wanted child” or their lives intrinsically lack value.

The question is, could Ms. Huntsman have merely been confused and felt she was exercising her right to choose, but choosing to do it post- (not pre-) birth?

What happens when a child is born alive is a decision Florida Planned Parenthood lobbyist, Alison Laport Snow, on behalf of Planned Parenthood in 2013, proclaimed should be a “left up to the woman, her family, and the physician.” In Huntsman’s case, the physician wasn’t present, so she decided for herself.

[youtube]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qEv1afKaLhA[/youtube]

Megan Huntsman is a woman who performed filicide on six of her children whose delicate corpses have lain, some for as long as a decade, in cardboard boxes wrapped in towels like old trophies. Although innocent until proven guilty, for all intents and purposes, and based on her own admission, Megan Huntsman is a bona fide serial killer.

Therefore, considering huge influence Planned Parenthood has had on the thinking of women like Megan Huntsman, maybe in her next FUSE Network interview Cecile Richards could provide her spin on the Huntsman murders.

Perhaps Richards could clarify for America how Megan Huntsman’s actions differed from those of abortionist Kermit Gosnell who saved trophy feet from full term aborted fetuses, or Jeffrey Dahmer who stored parts of his victim’s anatomy in his refrigerator.

Or maybe not.

Kudos to Kermit Gosnell and Ariel Castro

BP-28Originally posted at American Thinker

Kermit Gosnell and Amanda Berry have already done damage to the pro-choice movement — Kermit for exposing the grisly details of late-term abortions, and Amanda for loving and defending a daughter sired by a rapist.  Next, Ariel Castro, via Ohio Cuyahoga County prosecutor Thomas McGinty, is about to push the national abortion debate over a cliff for sure.

McGinty believes that Ohio law calls for the death penalty for a man the prosecutor described as one of the “most depraved criminals [to] commit aggravated murder during the course of a kidnapping.”  The victims of those aggravated murder charges are the five children slain in utero by their father, Ariel Castro.

Currently, self-described “sexual predator” Castro is in jail on suicide watch, held on $8-million bail.  Mr. Castro is accused of kidnapping and raping three women who were held for 10 years inside a house of horrors at 2207 Seymour Avenue in Cleveland, Ohio.

At the time of their abductions, the girls were 14, 16, and 20 years old.  The women, now in their 20s and 30s, vanished separately between 2002 and 2004 after accepting a ride home from a helpful ex-bus driver named Ariel Castro.

Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus, and Michelle Knight then spent a decade confined to a basement, tied up with ropes and chains and holed up in separate rooms.  The women claim to have left the house only twice, and that was when they walked a few steps to the garage dressed in disguises and then back again.

When not being starved or physically assaulted, it’s alleged that the women were sexually abused.  Assistant county prosecutor Brian Murphy said Castro used the women “in whatever self-gratifying, self-serving way he saw fit.”

The repeated rapes resulted in six pregnancies, out of which only one baby, Jocelyn, the six-year-old daughter of Amanda Berry, survived.

For whatever reason, Castro’s first victim, Michelle Knight, seems to have suffered the worst of the abuse and endured the greatest loss.  It is believed that the five babies that were victims of forcible miscarriage were conceived by Michelle, who was beaten so badly over the almost 11 years she was held in captivity that her grandmother, Deborah Knight, said, “She has to have facial reconstruction, and she’s lost hearing in one ear.”

All three women emerged from the ordeal with both physical and emotional scars.  Amanda escaped with her life and her daughter Jocelyn; Gina with her life; and Michelle with her life, a disfigured face, and after five brutally administered abortions, most assuredly a broken heart.

The extent of Michelle Knight’s pain is hard to imagine, especially after learning that she helped deliver Jocelyn in an inflatable pool on Christmas Day in 2006.  Allegedly Miss Knight gave the newborn CPR after being threatened by Castro with death herself if the baby girl died.

In the state of Ohio, fetal homicide is against the law, and “[a]ll of Ohio’s homicide and assault statutes prohibit actions which kill or injure another person’s unborn child at any stage of pregnancy,” which is what Ariel Castro did not once, but five times.  Therefore, after the women’s rescue and Castro’s arrest, babies who would otherwise be viewed as non-viable entities, legal to dispose of under the law, are now positioned to become the driving force behind a possible death sentence for Ariel Castro for “aggravated murder.”

And while Ohio has some of the most restrictive abortion laws in the country, Castro being prosecuted for aggravated murder is sure to send a message to the rest of Pro-Choice America that, according to the Ohio justice system, these five children had the right to life.

In other words, physical- and sexual-assault victim and grieving mother Michelle Knight’s five babies are about to assume identities similar to those whose images are now seared into the mind’s eye of the nation thanks to the horrific Kermit Gosnell trial.

As for Pro-Choice America, try as they might to stress that the right to choose overrides the right to life, two champions of their cause, Kermit Gosnell and Ariel Castro, have done a grave disservice to the abortion debate.

Why?  Because both men unintentionally delivered a blow to a community that has struggled for 40 years to portray pre-born human beings as nothing more than lifeless clumps of tissue.  Now, Castro’s daughter Jocelyn, a child of rape, has a face, and Kermit Gosnell’s victims, Babies A, B, C, D, E, F, and G all have names.  Moreover, after Ariel Castro is formally indicted, the lives of five forcibly aborted babies will assume identities they would have otherwise been denied.

And then there’s the quandary the press is about to find itself in.  Unlike with late-term abortionist Kermit Gosnell, the media is in way too deep now to ignore Ariel Castro.  The initial sensationalism of the story drew the pro-choice media in, thinking they were dealing exclusively with a sexual abuse/bondage/kidnapping case.  Now it’s too late to back out, and the story has the potential to inspire a national debate about the inconsistency of a rationale that says murdering a fetus is wrong in some circumstances and perfectly acceptable in others.

So, kudos to Kermit Gosnell and Ariel Castro!  Not for their despicable deeds, of course, but for doing the unthinkable so well that, without realizing it, both men have given voice to unborn children who otherwise would have never been heard.

Why not an ‘Abortion Advocacy Medal of Distinction’ for Barack Obama?

Obama 2012

Originally posted at LiveAction News

Amid the Gosnell hubbub, according to Jay Carney, President Obama canceled his plans at the last minute to deliver the keynote speech at Planned Parenthood Federation of America’s annual fundraising dinner.  Instead, he has chosen to speak to PPFA supporters on the morning following the fundraiser.  It’s certainly likely that Obama is still interested in helping raise baby-killing money, not to mention reaffirming that he has no problem with slaughterhouses as long as they have nice waiting rooms and the attendants wear colorful scrubs.  The difference is that this time he’s chosen to do it in a low-key way.

Held in Washington DC, the theme of the event this year is “Time for Care,” because everyone who’s anyone knows that the perfect way to show you care is to fill red biohazard bags with 300,000 lifeless infants a year.

Full of effusive gratitude, Planned Parenthood Federation of America President Cecile Richards recently said this about Barack Obama:

He understands that access to birth control and preventive health care are economic issues for women and their families. We fought alongside him to ensure that women’s health access was expanded in the landmark Affordable Care Act, and now we have to fight hard to ensure that the full promise of health care reform is realized for millions of women.

In other words, Cecile is expressing personal thanks to the president for dedicating the first two years of his presidency to securing taxpayer-funded free birth control, morning-after pills, and above all, free abortion, with the occasional ‘healthcare’ mammogram thrown in for cover.

Cecile Richards appreciates Obama for his support because she feels that he “has done more than any president in history for women’s health and rights.” When it comes to lasting legacies, what could be better than an inscription on a placard hung in the Barack H. Obama Library that touts his support for the slaughter of innocents?

Barack Obama missing the dinner is probably disappointing, but Dr. Ruth Westheimer will still be there!  For her “lifelong commitment to empowering women and men to talk openly and honestly about sex and sexual health,” Dr. Ruth will be awarded the Margaret Sanger Award, which is Planned Parenthood’s highest honor, named after the well-known eugenicist.  Let’s not forget, Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood, started the organization based on a racist philosophy which held that “The most merciful thing that a family does to one of its infant members is to kill it” – and even more so if those infant family members happened to be black.

Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa is also an honoree.  There is a possibility the mayor will be accompanied by Barack Obama’s “brainstorming” border security expert/liberal Hollywood shill, Eva Longoria.  For his dedication to protecting women’s healthcare in the City of Los Angeles, Antonio is due to receive the “Care. No Matter What” award.

Dr. LaVerne Tolbert, a former Planned Parenthood board member, claims that:

In California, children are targeted for abortions through school-based clinics and school-linked clinics…Girls are taken off campus to a Planned Parenthood clinic, where abortions are performed without parental consent or notification.

Well, those revelations certainly explain the “No Matter What” aspect of Villaraigosa’s award. “No matter what” the age and “no matter what” mom and dad may think, esteemed California officials are there to make sure that “no matter what,” no one and nothing stands in the way of exercising reproductive rights.

As for Barack Obama, keynote speech cancellation aside, after five years of ensuring access to abortion this president is head and shoulders above the 43 presidents who have gone before him.  Therefore, it would certainly be appropriate, in honor of courageous late-term abortionists everywhere, if Planned Parenthood bestowed upon anti-Born Alive Act Barack in absentia a new award called the ‘Abortion Advocacy Medal of Distinction.’

Nonetheless, whether pro-choice or pro-life, either way one would be hard-pressed to deny that Barack Obama has certainly earned Planned Parenthood accolades.  After all, this cancellation is the first time the president has allowed concerns about public reaction to pictures of crumpled newborns in garbage cans to force him to disappoint likeminded acolytes.  Besides, over the years, whenever it’s needed, Barack Obama has faithfully scoffed at critics of abortion and taken a firm but polite stand on the side of unrighteousness.

It’s those types of sterling pro-choice community credentials that make it surprising that Barack Obama has decided to pay heed to the controversy surrounding the grisly trial underway in Philadelphia.  Not to worry though, since this president has proven time and again that he strongly supports the iconic abortion provider, because unlike no-frills killer Kermit Gosnell, Planned Parenthood has built a first-rate reputation for killing and disposing of babies in both a sanitary and timely manner — except when it doesn’t.

A stillborn found in laundry service sheet

baby_wrapped_up_in_blanket_close-up_IAI007000423Originally posted at Live Action News

Imagine having a laundry service that caters to a large health care facility. The usual delivery of dirty bed linens arrives and sits around for 48 hours. Finally, a tired worker drags the large duffel-type bag over to a workstation and starts to yank the contents of the bag out onto a table or the floor. All of a sudden, something unexpected tumbles out. It’s not hospital slipper socks, nor a damp towel. It’s not even a standard crumpled up pile of blue Chux. Wrapped in a sheet like a shroud is a fully formed stillborn baby.

That scenario is exactly what took place in St. Paul, Minnesota when workers from the Crothall Laundry were going about their day washing soiled sheets from Regions Hospital.

In response to the grisly discovery, the Minnesota hospital issued an apology, saying that the babe in the bedsheets was a 22-week-old fully-formed fetus who had died prior to birth. After delivery, the stillborn was taken to the morgue, where its small body was swaddled in a hospital sheet. Apparently, someone mistakenly tossed the tiny baby in with dirty linen, sending both the bedclothes and the stillborn to the laundry.

The hospital’s chief nursing officer, a contrite Chris Boese, said in a statement, “This was a terrible mistake, and we are deeply sorry. We have processes in place that should have prevented this but did not. We are working to identify the gap in our system, and to make sure this does not happen again.”

Staff at Regions Hospital claim they called to notify the family to express regret, and also extended support and counseling to the laundry service employees who got to see, up close and personal, what a 22-week-old fetus looks like. The interesting thing here is that, based on the need for psychological counseling, it’s clear that what the laundry workers saw didn’t resemble a blob of tissue – because if it did, counseling obviously would not have been necessary.

In hospitals that do perform abortions, it’s been alleged that leaving a baby to die in a laundry room is not unusual. Since having closed its Reproductive Health Clinic, Regions Hospital no longer performs elective abortions, so it’s unlikely that the child who ended up in the laundry was a result of a late-term abortion gone badly.

The “born alive” question arises because over the years, the definition of “pro-choice” has expanded to include the right to let a pesky infant who simply refuses to die live out its final minutes on a shelf in a soiled laundry room, cold and gasping for air.

And while to some that may seem shocking, Americans must agree that laundry room execution is acceptable, because in November a president was re-elected who believes that giving life-saving treatment to a wriggling little scrapper who defiantly resists going directly into the red biohazard bag “burdens the original decision of the woman and the physician to induce labor and perform an abortion.”

Clearly, it’s Barack Obama’s opinion that the sacred right to a hands-off form of infanticide trumps treating an unwanted baby with the dignity and respect every human being rightly deserves.

The Kermit Gosnell murder trial is currently rousing America from its “abortion is a benign procedure” stupor, is proving that babies do occasionally emerge from the womb alive as a result of a botched abortion. In Italy, one defiant warrior aborted at 22 weeks for the sin of being “disabled” struggled to survive under a sheet with his umbilical cord still attached. It was under that sheet that a priest who had come to the laundry room to pray found him. The baby boy was transported to neo-natal care, where he later cooperated with the “original decision of the woman and the physician to induce labor and perform an abortion” and died.

Americans are coming to find out that infanticide isn’t a radical viewpoint in pro-choice circles. Recently, pro-choice community pillar Florida Alliance of Planned Parenthood Affiliates sent a lobbyist named Alisa LaPolt Snow, complete with pearls and a conservative business suit, to speak to the Florida legislature in defense of the practice of allowing babies who survive an abortion to die without medical intervention.

Ms. LaPolt Snow also believes that the “right to privacy” decision as to whether post-abortion children shivering and struggling to live be given medical care is a matter solely for the mother, her family, and the abortionist. Snow’s opinion, albeit articulated in a different way from the president’s, is indistinguishable from Barack Obama’s, and from his deep concern over the issue of human rights burdening the original decision to dispose of a baby.

And so, Regions Hospital extended apologies to the parents of the 22-week-old stillborn infant, who was transported from the Crothall Laundry back to the hospital morgue to be inspected by the medical examiner. In the meantime, traumatized laundry workers may seek counseling after finding the remains of a baby about the same gestational age as thousands who are terminated every year in this country. The difference is that the latter group is deprived of dignity and consists of nameless infants who are tossed onto the right-to-choose garbage heap without even a second thought.

Kermit Gosnell: Secret Hero to the Left

kermit_gosnell_APOriginally posted at American Thinker

Until the right-to-choose community fell victim to what the late late-term abortionist George Tiller called “sloppy medicine,” all was well in pro-choice America.  Then, Dr. Kermit Gosnell, proprietor and chief abortionist at the Women’s Medical Society, got busted and is now eligible for the death penalty after allegedly killing 41-year-old patient Karnamaya Mongar and murdering seven babies born alive in botched abortions.

Countless Americans falsely believe that disposing of a pre-born infant is more about women’s life choices than tiny crumpled corpses filling red biohazard bags.  Therefore, without much resistance, every day in America, 3,500 babies are aborted, discarded, and promptly carted off to the crematorium.  Now, much to the dismay of liberals, Gosnell’s murder trial is providing an up-close guided tour of a “baby charnel house” and in the process is exposing those in denial to the harsh reality that, regardless of gestational status, abortion means that babies die excruciating deaths.

It also means that, contrary to what Nancy Pelosi says, women in the throes of exercising the sacred right to choose occasionally muck up the works by dying on the floor.

Thus far, Gosnell’s wretched clinic, with its filthy speculums, jars filled with severed baby feet, and photos of female genitalia, has had a hard time piquing the interest of major news outlets.  After all, racy, sexy murderess Jodi Arias is much more intriguing than some twisted biracial abortionist carrying out Margaret Sanger’s eugenic ministry on vulnerable people of color.  Isn’t she?

But despite the left trying to suppress it, hard truth is seeping into the public consciousness and revealing that the process of abortion is indeed what the late “Tiller the Killer” called “sloppy medicine.”  Therefore, in response to public outcry, the media is being forced to feign shock over Gosnell’s flea-infested abattoir, which was home to stray felines that skulked about as women and babies lay dying on blood-stained examining tables covered with cat hair.

In addition to the deplorable conditions of the clinic, the Gosnell trial has also addressed the topic of sedation and cervical dilation, as well as vomit, urine, rivers of blood, and the proper disposal of infant cadavers — all of which, even in sterile settings, is ghastly.  The truth is that whether the public wants to face it or not, what went on at 3801 Lancaster Avenue in West Philly is akin to the federally funded feticide that is supported by a proud pro-choice president and approved of by his equally proud pro-choice constituency.

Yet even the most ardent pro-choice advocate would be hard-pressed to argue that flipping over a wriggling newborn and taking scissors to its spinal cord is not horrendous, but how much less painful is it for a 14-week-old fetus to writhe within its mother’s womb for 24 hours while being scorched to death by saline?  Or how different is it for a fragile infant to be torn apart by a suction device at 22 weeks in utero, or dismembered in the first trimester by a stainless steel scalpel?

And wasn’t it America’s renowned champion of choice, Barack Obama, who once said that caring for a child born alive in a botched abortion undermines the “original intent” of the abortion?  Hence, Kermit Gosnell’s actions could merely have been the West Philly abortionist’s way of adhering to Barack Obama’s philosophy to respect the “original intent” of the woman’s right to choose.

Who can forget the indignant racially charged comments Barack Obama made after the shooting death of Trayvon Martin and the arrest of Harvard professor Henry Gates, Jr.?  In defense of women, America’s über-concerned president even found the time between tee-offs to dial up free-birth-control shill Sandra Fluke.  Yet Kermit Gosnell packing a freezer with the body parts of fetuses has yet to elicit any response whatsoever from our self-appointed defender of minorities, women, and murdered children.

Therefore, if the president — who voted against the Born Alive Infants Protection Act as an Illinois senator — really does see himself as the self-appointed savior of little ones, maybe he’ll prove it by initiating a teary-eyed Sandy Hook-type memorial service for the butchered infants whose frail remains were jammed into Gosnell’s freezer.

Regardless of what Barack Obama chooses to do or not do, for lack of a better explanation, it could be that liberals have failed to speak up because deep down, some of them secretly admire Kermit Gosnell.  After all, Kermit epitomizes the post-abortion rights mentality.  The West Philly executioner even took time to master the “man-caused disaster” language of liberal-speak.  Brilliantly, Gosnell was able to downplay the horror of squirming babies dropping into toilets by calling them “precipitations,” and he referred to the brutal act of severing spinal cords as “ensuring fetal demise.”

Not only that, but wouldn’t it be a tad hypocritical for a media that supports a president who insists on funneling millions of dollars into the coffers of Planned Parenthood to turn around and openly condemn Kermit Gosnell, who served his community by killing babies for profit under the guise of providing medical care to poor women?  The only difference between the two is that Kermit’s digs were a little rougher, his victims a little older, and his freezer packed with something other than orange juice and ice chips.

So, based on the obvious lack of interest, it might be safe to assume that if poor black women and children should happen to die as the result of a botched abortion, the usually death-obsessed left isn’t all that upset.

Ultimately, Kermit Gosnell may end up being the abortion industry’s sacrificial lamb and find himself living out his remaining years on death row.  Meanwhile, what’s certain is that the always-predictable left will likely argue that henceforth, legalized killing must be carried out in cheery, hygienic, government-regulated facilities.  Then stricter mandates can be put in place to ensure that properly trained abortionists have mastered the fine art of ensuring that the mothers live and the babies destined for the biohazard bag emerge dead from the womb as intended.

Will Kermit Gosnell Meet the Executioner?

In a world full of bad news, it’s great to occasionally get some good news. That good news came when the Philadelphia District Attorney’s office announced they were seeking the death penalty for abortionist Kermit Gosnell and three of his assistants: Lynda Williams, 42, of Wilmington; Steven Massof, 48, of Pittsburgh; and Adrienne Moton, 33, of Upper Darby.

Gosnell’s assistants were the loyal employees who stuffed the dead babies into the refrigerator after Kermit helped poor women exercise their right to choose by snipping the spinal columns of seven (that we know of) full term, born alive, viable infants.

The only bad news was that prosecutors “officially notified defense attorney Jack McMahon that they plan to seek death by lethal injection if a jury finds Gosnell guilty of first-degree murder in the abortions that took place at his Women’s Medical Society clinic.”   Don’t get me wrong; it’s not bad news that Kermit is being escorted to the death chamber, it’s just disappointing that Doctor Gosnell has to be administered a humane execution.

Gosnell should be thankful that an “eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth” is not the law of the land because if it were, the fiendish physician would have been subjected to the same “grisly” saline, suction, scalpel and snipping procedures that he frequently conducted on the most helpless and vulnerable among us.

When “ensuring fetal demise,” Gosnell did not discriminate.  The doctor administered extensive physical damage and death to grown women too.  Kermit is charged with the third-degree murder of Karnamaya Mongar who, while participating in what pro-abortionists call a “safe, legal and rare” procedure, was over-anesthetized by one of Gosnell’s unqualified helpers.

In another case, after looking around the doctor’s “filthy…poorly run” operating room, one woman who sought an abortion and then changed her mind alleges Kermit anesthetized her and carried out the abortion anyway.

Besides unsanitary conditions and women dying from massive drug overdoses and sepsis, Gosnell has also been the subject of numerous lawsuits, including an incident involving a 13 year-old girl who obtained an abortion from Gosnell without the required parental consent.

America’s most famous “sloppy technique”-fixer Gosnell, although operating out of a filthy, blood-splattered clinic full of fetal body parts and cat litter, is basically just the City of Brotherly Love’s version of Dr. George Tiller, the deceased Kansas late-term abortionist. Both Gosnell and Tiller formed their reputations on being available to the needs of women who believed their lives could only be saved by killing unborn children “a day before delivery.”  The only difference was that Kermit Gosnell’s clientele were almost exclusively poor, minority women.

Now Kermit and his staff are confined to a prison cell awaiting a decision that determines whether they live or die. Gosnell has deprived the right to life of many an unborn child, and now finds himself in an ironic situation: His life hangs in the balance, and choice – albeit a judge and jury’s – will ultimately determine this abortionist’s destiny.

A Culture of Death Hero

Recently incarcerated Philadelphia abortionist Kermit Gosnell was so committed to his craft that after looking around the doctor’s “filthy…poorly run” operating room, if a woman seeking an abortion changed her mind Kermit would sometimes anesthetize the unwilling and carry out the abortion anyway.

In addition to performing unwanted procedures on unconscious women, the proprietor of the Family Women’s Medical Society has been charged with eight counts of murder, infanticide, and abuse of a corpse. So far, the list of the dead includes a woman named Karnamaya Mongar, who Gosnell over-anesthetized, and seven infants who died in what are being called “grisly infanticides.”

According to the grand jury’s report, “Time and again, late-term babies were delivered alive — fully intact and breathing — and then killed. Gosnell called it ‘ensuring fetal demise.’ The way [Dr. G] ensured fetal demise was by sticking scissors into the back of the baby’s neck and cutting the spinal cord. He called that ‘snipping.’ Over the years, there were hundreds of ‘snippings.’’’

Judging from the jars filled with the body parts of fetuses, dead babies were Gosnell’s primary goal, and dead and maimed women were the unfortunate result or collateral damage.

The Kermit Gosnell “family practice,” which according to some women was so “filthy” that women sat on “blood-stained recliners,” included his wife, sister-in-law and a team of abortion clinic workers all charged with “practicing medicine without a license or covering up” the criminal activity going on inside the clinic. Dr. Gosnell must have figured, what does it matter if an executioner is licensed or not, either way the results are the always the same.

With Kermit Gosnell’s prosecution on the horizon, hundreds, maybe thousands of murdered babies will never have the opportunity to testify on their own behalf and neither will the late Karnamaya Mongar.  However, some women are starting to step forward to relate stories of physical harm and forced abortion in what the grand jury is now calling a “baby charnel house.’’

In pro-abortion America, “choice” is a dearly beloved right. However, inside the walls of Kermit Gosnell’s death factory, the final choice was not always the woman’s. When it came to abortion, Kermit felt he had the right to exercise his personal preference on the reluctant.

Case in point: Davida Johnson.  Ms. Johnson was 21 years old when she decided to visit Dr. Gosnell’s less-than-sterile clinic with plans to exercise her right to choose. After thinking through the decision, miraculously Davida “had a change of heart,” and headed for the exit. Before she made it out the door, the doctor took it upon himself to restrain and drug Davida, induce labor, and forcibly extract and destroy the infant.

Davida now claims she told Gosnell: “‘I don’t want to do this,’ and he smacked [her]. They tied [her] hands and arms down and gave [her] more medication.”  When Johnson woke up, she was no longer pregnant and didn’t “know if Gosnell killed her child in the abortion or in the snipping technique he used to kill babies shortly after birth.”

Because of Davida’s disturbing experience, the woman alleges she suffered four miscarriages and deals with “psychological issues [and] mental illness.”  Now, on behalf of her dead child, Ms. Johnson is asking hard questions like: “Did he do that to mine? Did he stab him in the neck? Because I was out of it. I don’t know what he did to my baby.”

Drugged women, bloody blankets, forced abortions, the corpses of dead fetuses – all are Dr. Gosnell’s trademarks.  In addition, the grand jury report claims Gosnell “spread venereal disease among [patients] with infected instruments, perforated wombs and bowels,” tore cervixes, and exposed women to life-threatening infection and blood loss.  The deplorable list includes two women who claim that after submitting the frail frames of their unborn children to Kermit, one required a hysterectomy and the other is physically handicapped after requiring open-heart surgery.

With each passing day, the Kermit Gosnell horror story continues to reveal the unthinkable. Yet, one can’t help but wonder why a public supposedly supportive of abortion rights expects so much from a person whose career is murder for money. Kermit may just be the type of guy who finds it difficult to control killing within the boundaries of the law one minute and, in the next, control himself and revere life.

Thus, it would be interesting to know if, in the shadows of abortion clinics across the nation, those a little tidier about their work secretly feel Dr. Gosnell’s crime was being lackadaisical, storing one too many body parts in the freezer and, above all, calling unwanted attention to incognito Kermit Gosnells by daring to get caught.

Kermit the Killer

Family practitioner/uncertified OB/GYN Dr. Kermit Gosnell has been charged with the systematic murder of hundreds, maybe even thousands of children.  In addition, it appears Kermit is personally responsible for collateral damage in the form of an occasional dead woman or two.

Dr. Gosnell is charged with the death of 41 year-old Karnamaya Mongar who, while exercising the right to choose, died while submitting her unborn child to safe, legal and not-so-rare feticide in Kermit the Killer’s clinic.  Ms. Mongar “overdosed on painkillers during an abortion in her 18th or 19thweek of pregnancy” in a health center the dead woman’s brother said was both “dirty and bloody.”

Dirty and bloody are standard slaughterhouse fare.  Executioners are notorious for failing to keep pristine sterile environments. So, it’s no wonder Gosnell reused “unsanitary instruments and perform[ed] procedures in filthy rooms.”  In fact, according to patients who made it out alive, “Some of the rooms had litter boxes and animals present at the time of the operations.” Filth may be why Gosnell was named in 46 malpractice suits, one of which involved a 22 year-old woman who died of sepsis and a perforated uterus.

According to District Attorney Seth Williams, women came from as far away as the mid-Atlantic because Gosnell could always be counted on to perform a late-term abortion.  However, unlike Kermit’s minority patients, “White women from the suburbs were ushered into a separate, slightly cleaner area because Gosnell believed they were more likely to file complaints.”

In addition to providing third-trimester reproductive services, Dr. Gosnell is also charged with purposely birthing and then barbarically killing seven viable infants, “born alive during failed illegal late-term abortions.” None of the seven dead human beings were granted the right to life by their mothers, who entrusted Kermit and unlicensed clinic workers with the job of cutting their child’s spinal column with a pair of dirty scissors and disposing, bagging, or placing their pieces in oversized mason jars.

A search of the Family Women’s Medical Society building “revealed that bags and bottles holding aborted fetuses were scattered throughout the building. Jars containing the severed feet of babies lined a shelf.”

Remember serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer? Jeffrey also saved body part mementos. Much like Dahmer, Dr. Gosnell collected trophies, but the doctor’s consisted mostly of low-income, minority babies. The difference between Dahmer and Gosnell is that Kermit’s victims were a lot smaller and the doctor was happy to exterminate regardless of gender.

Unlike Dahmer, who earned nothing for murder, necrophilia and cannibalism, Gosnell’s butchery earned “$1.8 million in one year alone.” According to authorities, in a few short hours Doc pocketed “$325 for first-trimester abortions and $1,600 to $3,000 for abortions up to 30 weeks. The clinic took in $10,000 to $15,000 a day” in blood money.

Now, three decades and a pile of dead bodies later, Gosnell is accused of “Infanticide, Conspiracy, Abortion at 24 or more weeks, Abuse of a Corpse, Theft, Corruption of Minors, Solicitation and other related offenses.”

Running a lawful enterprise in a needy community, Dr. Gosnell likely viewed himself as a committed servant of the commonweal. It would be both confusing and frustrating for someone like Kermit to find himself in prison.  All the man was trying to do was offer a legal service to low-income women without the hindrance of small details like length of gestation or postnatal fetal fortitude.

Logically, a dead baby is a dead baby.  Does it really matter how far along the developmental trajectory a child is destroyed?  Besides, if the President of the United States is not in a “pay grade” to determine when life begins, should an uncertified Pennsylvania OB/GYN be held to a higher standard?  Whether it is 10 weeks, 24 weeks, full-term or born alive, either way the same unwanted baby would be dead, so why penalize a mother for not knowing enough to visit her friendly neighborhood abortion clinic a few weeks earlier?

Let’s face it, the only reason Kermit, his wife, and eight other clinic workers are sitting in a jail cell is largely because of a pesky federal law enacted during pro-lifer George W. Bush’s administration.  The Born Alive Infant Protection Act requires medical facilities that earn their keep by killing the unborn “to provide appropriate medical care and treatment for…children who were born alive after a failed abortion.”

Additional thoughts on the subject published exclusively on  Jeannie-ology and not part of the original article:

In Kermit’s world, what’s the big deal?  Mom comes to Dr. G for help because she doesn’t want a baby. Gosnell slides the litter box out of the room, quickly brushes off the obstetrical table, induces labor, and a squirming baby is delivered.  As the infant gasps for breath, lets out a whimper and shivers from the cold air, Champion of Choice Dr. Kermit severs the spinal cord, tosses the baby into a garbage bag, and when Mom comes to, she’s none the wiser. Thanks to Dr. Gosnell, another satisfied customer sips some warm orange juice from a plastic cup and goes home relieved and liberated from the prospect of unwanted motherhood.

In fact, when it comes to the Born Alive Act (HR 2175), there is one man in particular who might empathize with Kermit and his dilemma. Barack Obama prides himself on placing the right to choose above the right to life. Barack even opposed a bill preventing partial birth abortions which, in essence, except for a few minutes here or there, is no different than what Kermit Gosnell administered daily in his blood-splattered clinic.

President Obama may not literally cut tiny, pencil-thin spinal cords with scissors, but he proudly attests to being more concerned with Roe v. Wade not being “undermined” than wrapping a shivering infant, with skin as thin as tissue paper, in a blanket. Barack Obama believes providing the frail and powerless with oxygen and warmth “burden[s] the original decision of the woman and the physician to induce labor and perform an abortion.”  “Burdening the original decision” with a living child is precisely the type of situation Kermit Gosnell has been working hard to avoid for 30 years.

Dr. Kermit Gosnell is likely going to jail for literally addressing Barack Obama’s concern that nothing should interfere with the decision of a woman and her doctor to induce labor and destroy a living human being. The difference is, with scissors in hand Kermit personally makes short work of a process Obama thinks may take a little longer, but in the end has the same result.
