Does Obama’s Half-Brother George Qualify as a Refugee?

obama-brotherOriginally posted at American Thinker

Once again, Barack Obama is attempting to heap condemnation on Americans for being concerned that ISIS, as promised, will infiltrate the U.S. and do it by exploiting a humanitarian crisis.

That kind of blame-the-vulnerable tactic is exactly what the president used when he insisted on bringing thousands of “unaccompanied minors” into America from Central and Latin America.

For months, as border agents did double duty as nurses and nannies, at the mere suggestion that the youthful invasion might not be in America’s best interest, Obama responded by bludgeoning the wary with his trusty “that’s not who we are” club until the prudent skulked away whimpering in frustration.

As a result the Obama-sponsored charitable “unaccompanied minor” crisis delivered to the American people Third World diseases that caused dozens of children to be infected with Enterovirus D-68 – some of whom died.

Currently, the president is sponsoring another crisis.  This one involves Middle Eastern refugees.  As ISIS salivates at the thought of ‘tasting of American blood’ the latest influx is poised to deliver to our citizenry ramifications far worse than viral infections.

Nonetheless, Obama, who ordinarily has no trouble working in tandem with Planned Parenthood to ensure the surplus children are disposed of, is again depicting refugees, 62% of whom are military-aged males, as parentless youngsters, and accusing the cautious among us of being “scared of 3-year-old orphans.”

For the moment, after listening to eight years’ worth of words that are completely detached from any corresponding action, Obama maintains that he’s concerned about foreigners in need.  If that’s true, instead of worrying about 60 million refugees, maybe he could lead the way by putting doable action behind his own sanctimoniousness lecturing.

And what better place to start exercising those “My Brother’s Keeper” values he keeps talking about than with his own half-brother, George Obama, who despite his famous sibling’s desire to save the world from destitution, barely survives on but a few dollars a month.

Face it; the president has zero qualms when it comes to bullying all of us about what he thinks we should be doing unto those he thinks we should be doing it to.

Yet when Barack “My brother, your brother, our son” Obama visited the motherland in the summer of 2015, rather than embrace his family heritage, not only did he refuse to visit his ancestral village of Kogelo, he also chose to ignore his penniless half-brother.

Now, a few months later, while addressing the G20 summit in Turkey, a clearly irritated president pontificated about the American value of embracing an influx of 26-year-old male Muslim fighting age orphans.

And while Obama berates Americans for not doing enough for Middle Eastern refugees, in Kenya his drug and alcohol-addled brother George continues to live below the poverty line in an illegal tin hut in Nairobi’s filthy Huruma slum.

So, with that as a basis of comparison, Barack has zero right to lecture anyone about lack of empathy towards those in need.   Not only that, but how about his audacity while in Malaysia? In the midst of the raging refugee debate, an insolent Obama vowed that despite his allowing bands of blood thirsty barbarians free access to America’s throat, “as long as [he’s] president we are going to keep stepping up.”

Granted, Barack will continue to fight hard for the right to dump boatloads of indigent refugees, some of who are planning to kill us, at the feet of weary American taxpayers.  However, in the interim, no one has stopped him from assisting his Kenyan brother who, rather than follow his dream of being an author and playwright, collects trash off the street.

That’s right, while one of his father’s many sons thrives in the lap of monarchial luxury, George Obama spends his days gathering up foul smelling waste and delivering it to a centrally located Kenyan dumping ground.  For that, Barry’s baby brother earns 100 Kenyan shillings pay per ‘shovel ready’ bag, which in U.S. dollars comes to a rousing $.97 per sack.

Clearly an environmentalist, green-leaning George sounds like his older brother when he insists that collecting garbage in a slum is his attempt at “job creation and keeping our environment clean.”

Sadly, familial needs have been unable to stimulate a helpful response from the president.  Instead, on a grander scale, Barack Obama is directing his attention toward attempting to persuade unwilling Americans to yield to an altruistic value he fails to demonstrate in his own life.

For lack of a better option, Barry should at least encourage his younger brother George to mingle in with the throngs of refugees currently being beckoned toward America for a better life.   So far he hasn’t, and based on his past track record, probably won’t.

The Brother Barack Obama Doesn’t ‘Keep’

Originally posted at American Thinker

The goal of the president’s newest racially divisive effort, “My Brother’s Keeper,” is to set black and Latino male youth apart from white male youth.  It centers on recruiting businesses and foundations to donate $200 million over five years towards programs that will benefit young males of color.  Apparently, much like Barack Obama’s real brothers, needy boys with little or ‘no color,’ as well women and girls of any color, will have to tough it out on their own.

In the Bible Cain responded to God’s question concerning the whereabouts of the brother he had just murdered with “Am I my brother’s keeper?” Based on his fundamental misunderstanding of the Scripture’s meaning, Barack Obama calling any initiative “My Brother’s Keeper” is like Betty Crocker writing cookbooks while starving her own children.

Why?  Because, besides discriminating as to who is a brother and who is not, this is a man who has several brothers of his own, none of whom he helps, let alone ‘keeps.’

Which makes one wonder, amidst all the photo ops and public displays of altruism, why no one has thought to inquire of the president – a man individually worth $12.2 million – why his sibling George Obama lives like a pauper in an African shantytown? After all, why would Obama advance a program to help strangers he calls “brothers” while one of the men his father sired barely survives in abject poverty?

Nonetheless, with the usual level of hypocrisy masked by high drama, “My Brother’s Keeper” was announced with much fanfare by America’s pro-choice president, who choked back tears while challenging young minority men who wear bulletproof vests to school to make the right choices.

Description: http://americanthinker.com/images/bucket/temp/at_84jPWfab/Brother_s_Keepr_1_.jpgIn the East Room of the White House Obama addressed the gathering of boys dressed in crisp white shirts.  The president told them that (besides “fundamentally transforming the United States of America”), helping minority males make the right choice “is as important as any issue that I work on. It’s an issue that goes to the very heart of why I ran for President.”

On hand for the event was NBA legend Magic Johnson, whose record of right choices includes sleeping with 1,000 or more women, one of whom is probably responsible for imparting to him an HIV-positive status, and former Mayor Michael Bloomberg, whose Nanny State strong-arm tactics help people make the right choices by taking choices away.

In addition to Fox News Obama enthusiast Bill O’Reilly, also in attendance were former Secretary of State Colin Powell, race-baiter Al Sharpton and former ballerina/9½-fingered former deli meat slicer, Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel.

The president told the group:

If America stands for anything, it stands for the opportunity for everybody – the notion of no matter who you are or where you came from or the circumstances under which you were born – if you work hard, if you take responsibility then you can make it in this country.

Unless of course you’re one of the 92 million unemployed Americans who want to take responsibility and “work hard” but can’t, thanks to Barack ‘My Brother’s Keeper’ Obama’s job-killing policies.  So where minimum-wage jobs for unskilled youth are going to come from is a question yet to be answered by America’s job creator.

Meanwhile, in a shanty in Nairobi lives Barack Obama’s very own half-brother George, whose wrong choices include spending most of his time drinking a cocktail made with maize and spiked with mind-altering chemicals like embalming fluid.

What’s perplexing is that the initiator of the “My Brother’s Keeper” event is the most powerful man in the world with every resource at his disposal, yet he ignores his own flesh and blood – a minor detail that does not hinder him from holding himself up as an inspiration to those looking for a brotherly role model to emulate.

According to a White House official, Obama was very emotional talking about growing up without a father, which is exactly how his younger brother grew up after Barack Obama Sr. was killed in a drunk-driving accident the year George was born.

The president told the boys:

I didn’t have a dad in the house. And I was angry about it, even though I didn’t necessarily realize it at the time. I made bad choices. I got high, not always thinking about the harm that it would do.

Obama’s baby brother didn’t have a father either, but he does have a brother old enough to be a father figure to him.  Yet while big brother preaches about being there for boys he doesn’t even know, little brother spends his time slumped over in a corrugated iron hut in a Kenyan slum, drunk on Chang’aa.

The president’s youngest brother is 32 years-old, which means that since he was 20 years-old Obama has known about George.  So if the president’s ‘brother’s keeper’ initiative is a lifelong goal, why then, over the last 32 years, has he done nothing to help a member of his own family?

What’s telling is that, although drug- and alcohol-addicted and having no worldly possessions to speak of, George Obama has a vision of his own.  In his memoir Homeland, George, who has nothing to gain from helping others, said something impressive:  “My brother has risen to be the leader of the most powerful country in the world. Here in Kenya, my aim is to be a leader among the poorest people on Earth: those who live in the slums.”

In a word: Wow!

Essentially, despite the obvious racially discriminatory aspect of “My Brother’s Keeper,” big brother Barack still fancies himself a mentor to disadvantaged kids, thus the noble outreach to underprivileged boys bussed all the way to Washington DC from the South Side of Chicago.

But in the end, all those efforts mean nothing because the Lord, like he asked Cain, will surely one day ask Barack, “Where is George thy brother?”  On that day, the president’s answer will be, “I know not: I was too busy being keeper to boys who were not my brother.”

A Holiday Obama Family Reunion

Originally posted at The Blacksphere

Sometimes in life, when you least expect it, things just come together perfectly. Take for example the irony of first lady Michelle Obama previewing the 2013 White House holiday décor on the same day the president recalled that he did indeed meet his father’s brother/long-lost uncle, Onyango “Omar” Obama.

This year’s Gather Around: Stories of the Season couldn’t be a more appropriate theme for the Obama family to be inspired to lay claim to lost traditions with family members like formerly-estranged Uncle Omar.

During the recent holiday press preview, Michelle Obama told the children of military families that this Christmas for the Obamas the “goal is for every room and every tree to tell a story about who we are and how we gather around one another to mark the holidays.”

With the president’s kinfolk from Kenya back in his life, celebrating the stories of his own family would certainly contribute to the fabric of how a diverse nation of Americans celebrates this special time of year. Telling stories about who we are and “how we gather around one another” and being equipped with discussion topics from Organizing for America’s “Healthcare for the Holidays” propaganda just screams ‘Obama Christmas Family Reunion.’

Guests like Aunt Zeituni, Uncle Omar, and even the president’s half-brother George would be a perfect addition to holiday family time spent with Kenya’s most famous son, his lovely bride, and their two adorable daughters.

If the Obama extended family decides to grace the White House with their presence, Omar and George can bunk in the Lincoln Bedroom and Aunt Zeituni can crash on a roll-out cot in Grandma Marion Robinson’s boudoir.

Up and around touring the premises, Obama’s kinfolk can sample the 300-pound gingerbread house while munching on a few of the 1,200 Springerle cookie ornaments.

If the president decides to set a leadership example and ‘lay claim to lost traditions,’ then in the same fashion as he does for his annual Iftar dinner, he can host a traditional Kenyan family Christmas celebration.

White House chef Sam Kass can rustle up rice pudding, and on a spit out back he can roast some nyama choma, which consists of chicken, lamb and a whole variety of other meats.

After filling up on a buffet of South African goodies such as wali wa nazi, plantain banana stew, and sausages made of ground meat parts and goat blood encased in goat intestines, the “Let’s Move!”-friendly Kenyan Christmas dancing can officially begin, which traditionally continues far into the night.

The only problem the president might run into, besides disturbing the neighbors with the relentless drumming on the sikuti, is trying to supply Uncle Omar and brother George Obama with enough libation to keep them interested in the family reunification effort for the duration of the holiday season.

Uncle Omar is a package store manager from Framingham, Massachusetts who was arrested in 2011 for a DUI, so his adult beverage needs are pretty basic. However, George Obama is an entirely different story. Allegedly George lives in a hut in a Nairobi slum where his neighbors call him ‘Mister President!’

Once addicted to cocaine and heroin, George claims to have kicked both habits. Instead, from morning until night, the younger Obama supposedly keeps his whistle wet with Chang’aa — a spirit distilled with maize and spiked with chemicals.

"Kill me quick" Chang’aa

“Kill me quick” Chang’aa

To to get all the ingredients necessary to provide George with ample quantities of Chang’aa, Sam Kass will have to arrange sizable shipments of maize, ethanol, embalming fluid, and/or battery acid.If mixed incorrectly, Chang’aa can cause blindness and death.

Regular drinkers suffer liver and kidney failure and mental damage called ‘wet brain,’ the latter of which makes one think George’s older brother ‘drunk with power’ Barry may have occasionally sampled a shot or two while visiting the clan in the motherland.

But one thing is certain – Aunt Zeituni and probably Uncle Omar haven’t signed up for Obamacare as of yet. So at least the president can engage them in “Healthcare for the Holiday” dinner table conversation.

As for George, if the president plies his brother with enough Chang’aa he can probably convince him to stay in America and start a slumdog football team on the South Side of Chicago to help promote healthcare.gov to “young invincibles.”

Either way, with Uncle Omar’s new green card in hand, there is cause for family celebration. Moreover, now that Uncle Omar has the same status as Aunt Zeituni, who attended her nephew’s 2009 inauguration, what better time to make up for lost time than Christmas?

That’s why Barack and Michelle, after expressing a desire to “Gather Around: Stories of the Season,” couldn’t ask for a more perfect group to revisit lost traditions with than Uncle Omar, Aunt Zeituni and the president’s brother George Obama.

And so the hope is that Kenya’s very own magi are eager to spend the holiday season wallowing in the warm, welco

Michelle Obama Searches for an Identity in Senegal

michelle-obama-senegal-600x361Originally posted at American Thinker

Michelle Obama is first lady of the United States of America and yet it seems that she’s searching high and low for an identity – desperate for a place to fit in.

It started after 15-year-old schoolgirl Hadiya Pendleton of Chicago was shot dead standing in Vivian Gordon Harsh Park talking with friends. Michelle Obama rushed to Chicago to attend the girl’s funeral, had her parents Cleo and Nate sitting in the Special People Sky Box with her at the State of the Union, and then told Hadiya’s story when pushing gun control at a conference on youth violence hosted by Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel.

It was there that Mrs. Obama said, “Hadiya’s family was just like my family. Hadiya Pendleton was me. And I was her.”

Just recently, on a trip to the Emerald Isle, while attending a special Riverdance performance at the Gaiety Theatre in Dublin, Michelle Obama again told an audience full of students, this time from Moneygall, that “It’s good to be home.”  Then she identified with schoolchildren, some of whom had been practically scolded a day earlier by the President for going to Catholic school, saying, “We are you. We are just like you.”

We already know that it’s a long way from Piccadilly to Tipperary, but come on people, it’s even further from Chicago to Dublin, and so what was Michelle Obama talking about?  Either the woman is in a perpetual identity crisis, or she is majorly confused.  We’re talking about Irish schoolchildren here.  We’ll give her a pass on Hadiya in Chicago, but Ireland?

Now she’s in sub-Saharan Africa.  Speaking in Dakar, Senegal at the Martin Luther King Middle School, again to schoolchildren, frustrated, lost without a true home and identity, Michelle Obama compared her background to that of poverty-stricken Senegalese children.

Mrs. Obama began by telling youngsters who live in a country where 56% of the population lives in destitution that she knows “a little bit about [poverty] from [her] own experience.”  “See, like many of you,” Michelle confided, “I didn’t grow up in a family with a lot of money.”

Mrs. Obama shared that her father, who had MS, “Sacrificed and saved so that he could pay my university tuition.”

Tuition?  Clearly, Princeton and Harvard alumnus Michelle Obama didn’t do her homework before arriving in Senegal in her Zero + Maria Cornejo dress from the Pre-Fall 2013 collection.  The average yearly salary in American dollars in Senegal is $1,070, and Michelle is telling the children that she knows “a little bit about this from [her] own experience?”

In Senegal, 52% of the little money they have goes to buying food. Some of the children Michelle was attempting to identify with probably live in squatters’ shantytowns, of the same style that Obama’s brother George occupies in Kenya.  Although Michelle was sharing inspiring stories of hard work and determination to get an education, for Senegalese children saving up for Harvard is not an option, because any money they have covers the most basic of needs.  We’re talking survival here.

Much like in Obama’s America, in Senegal the standard of living for the poor has declined while the wealthy continue to prosper.

Nonetheless, Mrs. Obama apparently didn’t put off the children, ergo the applause.  In fact, they could have mistaken her for being part of the small group of Senegalese elite, which is made up of businessmen, influential politicians, government ministers, university professors, and members of the (ahem) Socialist Party.

In his book Senegal: An African Nation Between Islam and the West, Sheldon Gellar contends that “the elite group is predominantly male, urban, highly educated, politically connected, and able to afford European-style living standards.” And have wives who wear from Zero + Maria Cornejo’s Pre-Fall 2013 collection.

Yet Michelle Obama, on a $100 million African adventure, rejected Hadiya Pendleton, the deceased victim of Chicago gun violence, elected to leave the “We are just like you” Moneygall schoolchildren in the sub-Saharan dust, and on this trip, chose to see herself in the eyes of children whose parents earn what amounts to $20.57 per week.

Share-the-Wealth’ Obama’s Charitable Christmas Message

Originally posted at American Thinker blog

Besides turning the White House into a tabernacle to a Portuguese Water Dog, this year, for the holidays, the president and his family attended the annual “Christmas in Washington” TNT special taped at the National Building Museum.  The Obamas graced the stage with host funnyman Conan O’Brien and Motown diva Diana Ross, who had a broken ankle and was dressed like a black-and-white Christmas tree-topper.

To add to the holiday spirit, a herd of elves, pop star Demi Lovato, The Voice‘s Chris Mann, American Idol‘s very own country crooner Scotty McCreery, Smash‘s Megan Hilty, and PSY, the South Korean “Gangnam Style” psycho with a history of protesting America by smashing replicas of U.S. military tanks, were all there.

The president reminded the audience that the charitable event was “[a] chance to make a real difference in the lives of some very brave former patients from Washington DC’s pediatric Children’s National Medical Center” and that “[m]any of these kids and their parents are going through tough times right now, and your support helps give them a reason to hope – not just during the holidays, but all year round.”

Despite the government’s splendid plans to oversee national health care, Barack “Big Government” Obama seemed to suggest that private charitable donations are still needed to lift the financial burden from sick children and their families.  After all, not every illegal alien has access to a free kidney.

Forgetting about his impending $4-million Christmas vacation, Obama heaped upon the audience guilt weightier than a satchel full of wet puppies.  Always careful to inject his usual Marxist message into everything he says, the president shared from the heart that he believes that Christmas “[b]lessings aren’t just meant to be enjoyed — they’re meant to be used and shared with those who have less.”

Translation: Americans have too much, and what we do have should be redistributed amongst those who have less.  Except if you’re Obama.  Then you’re allowed to delight yourself yearly with $1.4 billion‘s worth of exclusive presidential perks.

Cautious not to offend non-Christians on a Christian holiday, Obama shared that “[a]t the heart of many of the world’s great religions is the idea that we’re all better off when we treat our brothers and sisters with the same love and compassion that we want for ourselves.”

That belief is for only those who don’t have an impoverished half-brother named George who lives in Kenya, in which case “do unto others” doesn’t apply.

Barack Obama suggested we follow “Christ’s calling to love one another as He has loved all of us,” by praying for “Americans … spending this holiday in a hospital bed.”  What he forgot to mention was the dismal future awaiting a nation he shackled to a socialist-style health care system.

Then, when speaking about the down-and-out, Obama again failed to acknowledge his brother George.  He also chose to forego offering to house some of America’s homeless in that vacant $40-million mansion he allegedly purchased in Hawaii.

In closing, without mentioning proposed cuts in military funding that will impact everything from troop readiness to TRICARE and military retirement benefits, the president called to mind those men and women “protecting our freedom on a battlefield far from home.”

And so, the person who is currently decimating health care, the military, and the economy is obviously also blind to the fact that he is the reason the nation is in such urgent need of prayer.  Without even realizing it, at this year’s Christmas in Washington special, Barack Obama exhorted Americans to pray for the victims of a dire situation he created.

Barack Obama’s Idea of Staying in the Word and Living Like Jesus

Originally posted at American Thinker blog

Prior to the election in 2008, then-candidate Barack Obama showed up in Rick Warren’s Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, California.  It was there that Warren asked Barack Obama what Christianity meant to him and this is how he answered:

As a starting point, it means I believe in – that Jesus Christ died for my sins, and that I am redeemed through him. That is a source of strength and sustenance on a daily basis. Yes, I know that I don’t walk alone. And I know that if I can get myself out of the way, that I can maybe carry out in some small way what he intends. And it means that those sins that I have on a fairly regular basis, hopefully will be washed away.

But what it also means, I think, is a sense of obligation to embrace not just words, but through deeds, the expectations, I think, that God has for us. And that means thinking about the least of these.

Despite his “above my pay grade” answer to Rick Warren’s controversial “when does life begin” question, Barack Obama went on to win the election. Over the last four years the President has not let his “sense of obligation” toward Jesus stand in the way of his continued support for abortion on demand as well as all manner of liberal social policy whose precepts are denounced, not extolled, by the God Obama claims to worship.

For instance, with all that “thinking about the least of these” Barack Obama claims he does, he sure hasn’t given the helpless and defenseless unborn so much as a second thought. If the President’s true goal is to “carry out in some small way what [Jesus] intends” surely he can’t believe that it’s the Lord’s will for His followers to support or promote the destruction of God-ordained human life?

Now it’s less than three months until the next election and the President is again publicly espousing a deep commitment to his Christian faith.  Barack Obama, together with his opponent Mitt Romney, agreed to a faith-based interview, this time with Washington National Cathedral magazine.

President Obama must think the American people will overlook his request that the Jesuit priests at Georgetown University cover up the IHS monogram before he would speak there, or that he mocked Christians as being people who exhibit “antipathy” toward others while clinging to guns and religion.

Could it be that in Barack’s skewed understanding of Christianity, revoking the conscience clause for his Christian brethren who work in the medical field is how he “carries out in some small way” what he perceives to be what God intends?

In the “words and deeds” department, a Christian omitting the phrase “the Creator” when quoting the Declaration of Independence doesn’t exactly jibe with Jesus’ words: “Whoever acknowledges me before men, I will also acknowledge him before my Father in heaven.”

The truth is, the president has not vacillated in the slightest in his support of the anti-biblical policy of government-funded abortion, and recently “evolved” to a place where he now has a favorable opinion of same-sex marriage too.

Nonetheless, in the interview, Obama, who faithfully upholds the premise that women should be in control over life and death, shared that he believes “at the end of the day, God is in control.” God is either in control or He isn’t – it can’t be both ways.

The President also shared that “I have a job to do as president, and that does not involve convincing folks that my faith in Jesus is legitimate and real.” When Jesus walked the earth He made it quite clear that there is no need for convincing, because Jesus said, “a tree is known by its own fruit.”  So if persuasion is necessary maybe it’s because the fruit is, shall we say, questionable.

The problem is that in other ways Obama does plenty of “convincing.”  The President’s public profession of faith while approving and promoting blatant rebellion leads the impressionable to falsely believe a Christian is someone who quotes Scripture, supports Planned Parenthood, and officiates over same-sex marriage ceremonies.

And although he ignores his own flesh-and-blood brother George, who lives in a slum in Nairobi, the President expressed that his faith in God is directly tied to his belief in a compassionate role for government, saying, “From slavery to the suffrage movement to civil rights, faith – and the moral obligations that derive from our faith – have always helped us to navigate some of our greatest moral challenges with a recognition that there’s something bigger than ourselves: we have obligations that extend beyond our own self-interest.”

Does Obama grasp that “extending beyond our own self-interest” doesn’t quite fit with the right-to-choose paradigm he so ardently defends and that “extending beyond our own self-interest” probably has more do with helping his impoverished brother George than providing free contraceptives to the likes of Democrat Convention speaker Sandra Fluke?

That aside, in the Washington Cathedral interview the President made what is likely to be the most astounding declaration about his faith thus far when he said, “I do my best to live out my faith, and to stay in the Word, and to make my life look more like His.”

On the President’s part, spiritual goals are always commendable. Unfortunately, his self-created walk of faith often leads him and those he influences into extremely dark places.  Moreover, the President accepts and rejects Scripture according to personal moral preferences.  He dissects God’s Word and picks and chooses according to which verses he can use and manipulate to uphold reprobate liberal ideology.

This election year, maybe true people of faith should consider that regardless of how he perceives his walk with the Lord, Barack Obama is notorious for rejecting the hard sayings of the One he claims he wants his life to emulate.  As for the Scripture he says he’s “staying in,” according to the “Word made flesh,” not accepting that Word in its entirety is synonymous with rejecting the Christ the President claims to follow.
