Ya Don’t Say? Obama Says America’s Success Depends on Illegal Kids

As U.S. vets waste away on VA waiting lists and one half of working-age Americans remain unemployed, the southern border devolves into orchestrated chaos, the gains made through blood and treasure disintegrate in the Middle East, and jihadists released from Gitmo prepare to pick up where they left off, Barack Obama focuses on more important issues, such as addressing a Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee fundraiser held in the tony home of big Democrat donors Joanne and Paul Egerman of Weston, Massachusetts.

After giving the commencement address at Worcester Technical High School, Obama reminded big-money donors that America’s “future rests” on the success of those whose lawbreaking parents brought them to the U.S. illegally as children and who he thinks should be eligible to become citizens if the DREAM Act is passed by Congress.

Funny, isn’t it? Barack Obama, Kenya’s favorite son, holds the opinion that illegality should not hinder one from transforming America’s future.

As if high percentages of illegals being in a particular school should be the influence that overrides the law, America’s consensus builder reminded his audience that “About 30 to 40 percent of the kids in [Worcester Tech], by the way, are DREAM kids.”

Then Obama pointed out that “You wouldn’t know it looking at them, because they are as American…” as burritos made with flour tortillas versus the more preferable corn… er, I mean “…as apple pie.”

Not to suggest that illegal immigration is on par with serial murder, but no one would have guessed just by looking at him that in his spare time rapist/kidnapper/necrophile Ted Bundy murdered 30 women. So what do a person’s features have to do with deciding whether or not to uphold the law?

Moreover, if facial characteristics are the standard the president uses to condemn or exonerate a criminal, it might be wise to remember that fresh-faced Palestinian suicide bombers toting explosives-filled backpacks could pass for any one of those innocent-looking Central American refugees being housed in Nogales, Arizona.

Nevertheless, Barack Obama pointed out that “every single one of these kids, you might not be able to tell the difference, but a whole bunch of them — they’re worried about whether or not they’re going to be able to finance their college education of their immigrant status [sic].” Despite being incoherent, that statement clearly illustrates that the president either doesn’t know or doesn’t care about the worried, college-age children of millions of unemployed American citizens, let alone the millions of ailing Americans unable to finance their healthcare thanks to Obama’s assistance via healthcare reform.

Concerned primarily about illegal immigrants – unlike the vast majority of American citizens – Obama told donors that DREAM kids are “worried about whether, in fact, this country that they love so deeply loves them back and understands that our future rests on their success.”

Maybe someone should inform the self-described Constitutional scholar that the future of this country does not depend on sappy stories about criminals’ offspring getting a free pass; the future of America rests on whether the rule of law is enforced and whether those who Obama claims supposedly “love… [this country]…so deeply” love it enough to place the future of America ahead of selfish interests that include defying the law.

In his remarks, Mr. Obama sent a message disguised as a question when he asked Democrat donors, “Why wouldn’t we want to give them that certainty that you are part of the fabric of this nation, we’re counting on you, and we’re going to make sure you succeed?  Why wouldn’t we want to do that?”

Referencing the Worcester grads again, Obama persisted:

So these young people are graduating, ready to go to college, but also certified nurses, EMT folks.  Many of them are choosing to join the military and will contribute to our country in this way. And looking out as I was speaking to them and then shaking their hands, and giving them hugs and high-fives and all the things that kids do on a graduation, I thought to myself: How could we not want to invest in these kids?

A better question is this: Why does Obama refuse to invest in America by reinforcing U.S. sovereignty in the minds of those who disrespect it, and by negating his sovereign oath to uphold the law?

Moreover, why wouldn’t Barack Obama want to encourage the illegals he calls DREAM kids to emulate those who migrated from every corner of the globe, entered the U.S. in a lawful manner, and then depended on personal hard work, not a bloated, federal Nanny State, to achieve their success?

Could the answer to that question be that the president is a hybrid DREAMer himself? After all, many still believe Barack Hussein Obama may be enjoying the perks of a fraudulent presidency, which would explain why he works so hard to advocate on behalf of those who are equally opposed to obeying America’s laws.

Either way, Barack Obama suggesting that our nation’s future depends on the government making sure that illegal immigrants succeed says a lot about this particular president’s low opinion of the law-abiding citizens who may not be able to afford a Democrat fundraiser, but truly do make up the “fabric of this nation.”

Michelle Obama’s Not-Quite-Right Fundraising Story

Fundraising

Hopping aboard a taxpayer-funded airplane, Mrs. Obama recently scooted out to California to work the fundraising circuit. Michelle dropped in at the luxurious Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco for a DNCC women’s luncheon where she urged big-money donors to “dig deep” and “max out.”

The main purpose of Michelle’s trip was to raise money to finance the 2014 mid-term elections so that those who share Obama’s twisted anti-American values can help the president drive the final nail in America’s coffin. According to the first lady, Obama wants to lift up the middle class and restore opportunity to those who, since he was elected, have lost all hope for the future.

Michelle seems convinced that Americans “working 40 or 50 hours a week” who are now “stuck in poverty” can count on those who caused the mess to fix it.

During her stem-winder Michelle brought up the usual “there but for the grace of God go I” baloney that neither she nor Barack actually believe. She also stressed that “Our young daughters are counting on us to fight for their rights and freedoms,” which is code for abortion rights.

The first lady promoted the American Dream that, thanks to her husband, is fast becoming a socialistic nightmare, and applauded the ACA, which seriously hurts the five million Americans who lost their health insurance if they should receive a “terrible diagnosis” or have a “horrible accident.”

Michelle conveyed visual examples of Americans “falling off a cliff” and going without “food and medicine or a roof over [their] heads,” all situations that have intensified while Obama’s been playing president for the last five years.

To advance the liberal agenda, Michelle implored, “there is something that all of you can do right now… you can write a check…  And if you’ve written one… write another one…  Write a big old check.  Write the biggest check that you can possibly write.”

Then, Michelle goaded donors to “Leave San Francisco. Leave this bastion. Go out into the wilderness” – door-to-door and solicit the “bitter clinger” vote.

But amidst all the usual fundraising hogwash, what stood out the most were the glaring contradictions concerning how to achieve success in America.

How can a Princeton/Harvard-educated woman jet hither and yon, for free, on a jet paid for by the American taxpayer, beg for handouts from the rich to further “social justice” and then say, “[w]e don’t believe in handouts.  We don’t believe that anyone should get a free ride”?

Then, to convince donors to contribute money to elect liberals she believes will give the less-privileged a “fair shot,” Michelle Obama tells her own “working-class kid from the South Side of Chicago” hard-luck story of growing up in a family that wasn’t rich.

If her story is true, it was her father’s hard work, a stable family life, and personal determination that helped Michelle Obama eventually graduate law school. That means regardless of her circumstances, the first lady’s accomplishments had nothing to do with government giving her a “fair shot.” In reality, Michelle is where she is today because she was a “kid with … big dreams,” a measure of individual resolve, and responsible parents.

Yet Mrs. Obama continues to promote the lie that government central can impart something to America’s children that bureaucratic bolstering has proven it does not have the power to do. In fact, Michelle is so committed to perpetuating that falsehood that she didn’t tell just one hardscrabble story, she told two!

Next, she shared the plight of Troy Simon, a young man with a troubled childhood from “a struggling family in New Orleans.” At 14 years of age, “Troy still couldn’t read.  Troy couldn’t write.  Troy couldn’t even count very well.”

According to Michelle, Troy “got to work…buckled down at school,” caught up, applied to college, and is now a sophomore at Bard College majoring in American Literature. In other words, Troy Simon turned his life without government prodding, handouts and free rides.

At some point Troy decided that he wanted to succeed, and went about it without Joan Baez singing at a tony San Francisco hotel or Michelle Obama telling rich people to cough up another huge check. That’s why someone should politely inform Mrs. Obama – who indicts America by implying there is a lack of opportunity whenever she says, “Not in America. That’s not who we are” – that Troy Simon’s achievement is exactly who America is.

Clearly, Michelle does not recognize the confusion caused by pushing the nanny state using gutter-to-glory stories of personal triumph. Nonetheless, she continues to say, “I can’t help but think how their story could be my story.  But I also remember that my story can be their story if we give these kids a chance.”

Whether Michelle Obama realizes it or not, Troy Simon’s story is her story. That’s why, the next time the first lady is out fundraising, hard work, self-determination, and the wisdom to avail oneself of America’s unparalleled opportunity is the story she ought to be sharing.

Obama Replaces Website Concerns with Mega Fundraising

While Americans were busy scraping together pennies to try to pay for health insurance plans Barack Obama has demanded they buy, but can’t afford, Obama was in California fundraising at the mansion of the 144th richest person in America.

Hopping aboard Air Force One to burn up jet fuel costing an astounding $181K per hour, Obama put his priorities in order and jetted out to the sprawling Beverly Hills Estate of Egyptian-born Israeli-American television and media proprietor of Power Ranger fame, Haim Saban. Saban’s wife Cheryl was nominated by Obama to be the US representative at the upcoming U.N. General Assembly.

The people who showed up at the Sabans’ humble abode were willing to pay $16,200 per plate to hear Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC), Haim Saban(D-NY), and Michael Bennet, chairman of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC), talk drivel.

California’s very own Barbara Boxer was among the other politicians who attended the festivities.

The tony attendees included the Godfather of Black Music, Motown mogul, Clarence Avant, his wife Jacqueline, and their daughter Nicole, who serves as U.S. Ambassador to the Bahamas.  Netflix executive Ted Sarandos was Nicole’s guest.

SunAmerica’s Edythe and Eli Broad were there and neither one seemed to mind that the guest of honor had just thrown Israel under the bus.

Los Angeles mayor Eric Garcetti, Motown’s Berry Gordy, actors Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson, and 90s sitcom star Paul Reiser showed up. Oprah mogul Michael King and his Healthy Child/Healthy World philanthropist wife Jenna, along with Warner Bros. Chairman Barry Meyer and his wife Wendy, chairwoman of the board of United Friends of the Children (who aren’t aborted), all slapped down $16K each to listen to Obama yammer for 14 minutes.

Gladly ‘sharing the wealth’ with each other, the Sabans held the dinner party under what was described as a “spectacular [heated] pitched tent…with shimmering light brown fabric…four palm tree-inspired chandeliers…bathed in orange/gold light…[decorated] with bouquets of pink roses,” complete with “an elaborate fountain…in the middle of the tent.”

Mr. Saban jokingly read Obama the riot act for not providing valet parking when he and his wife dined privately with the president and first lady for a “great food, great company, very inspiring…small intimate dinner” at the White House.

To ensure that White House guests don’t have to hoof it to the White House, Saban, generous soul that he is, declared, “We have valet parking at the Sabans! So, Mr. President if you would please, thank you. Taxpayers’ money? I’ll fund it, no problem.”

Saban criticized Fox News and called out Rush Limbaugh by name for haranguing the president over the “technical glitch on the Obamacare website.”

The gazillionaire blamed everyone but Obama for having “clouded some of the most remarkable achievements of [the Obama] administration.”

Immediately after complaining that taxpayers don’t fund valet parking, Mr. Saban then listed Obama’s accomplishments so that his guests could “see things with perspective without allowing the caffeine that’s in the tea party’s rhetoric to keep us up at night worrying.”

Thrilled guests listened as their host, who obviously hasn’t been keeping up with the news, mentioned Obama’s record on foreign policy, saying, “We’re out of Iraq, we’re out of Afghanistan” and “the president’s commitment to Israel’s security has never been stronger.”

The American-Israeli host did not mention that Obama, who had the clout to hobnob with California billionaires, chose not to negotiate for the release of three Americans, one of whom is a Christian pastor, all still imprisoned in Iran.

Barack Obama, who prides himself on speaking behalf of the middle class, shared for a snippet of time, making sure to touch upon the pressingly urgent valet parking controversy at the White House.

The star-studded evening started at a small-scale $2,500 to $15,000 per-ticket fundraiser for 160 people held at famous womanizer Earvin Magic Johnson’s and his wife Cookie’s pad.

The former Los Angeles Laker called Barack Obama “the greatest leader in the world,” which makes one wonder whether, besides having slept with 3,000 women, Magic Johnson also nibbled on 3,000 magic mushrooms.

At that soiree were Samuel L. Jackson and family, Ashley Lewis, LA Clippers Antawn Jamison and JJ Redick and Redick’s wife Chelsea. Diane ‘Annie Hall’ Keaton was there, as well as a large busload of Democrat politicians that included San Francisco Supervisor London Breed, Xavier Becerra, Linda Sanchez and Mark Takano.

After spending the night resting from the whirlwind of excitement, Barack Obama attended a $32,400-per-guest breakfast event (man alive, those better be some awesome waffles) at the home of Friends co-creator Marta Kauffman. After which the president has plans to visit and give a speech on the economy and the entertainment industry, both of which he knows nothing about, at mega donor Jeffrey Katzenberg‘s DreamWorks Animation HQ.

All along the fundraising route, despite his 37% approval rate, Obama was cheered as he talked about teamwork, Obamacare, immigration reform, the economy, and, of utmost importance, his commitment to providing gazillionaires with valet parking when arriving for intimate dinners at the White House.
