POLICE IN THE CROSS-HAIRS: Does Racial Rhetoric Empower Cop-Killers?

officer_brian_moore_0504Originally posted at CLASH Daily

Following the grand jury’s decision not to indict Darrin Wilson in the Michael Brown case, in Bedford-Stuyvesant Brooklyn, right before Christmas, NYPD officers Rafael Ramos and Wenjian Liu were shot execution-style by a black Muslim convert named Ismaaiyl Abdullah Brinsley, who’d promised he’d put “wings on pigs.”

Now, less than six months later, race-baiters, hungry for the type of validation they feel they were denied in Ferguson, Missouri, are at it again, ginning up rioting, looting, and anger toward law enforcement, accusing cops of being abusive toward black men.

Regrettably, that claim seems to once again be empowering “thugs” to retaliate against police whose job entails controlling the volatile and unpredictable.

After ex-con Freddie Gray, a drug addict/pusher with a long rap sheet died of a severed spinal cord after being in police custody, Al Sharpton’s “No Justice No Peace” posse, Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake and Baltimore’s fiery chief prosecutor Marilyn Mosby, promised to deliver long-overdue justice to the same youths who scorched, ransacked and plundered Baltimore.

To accomplish that goal and to teach America’s police that deference toward criminals based on skin color is a wise choice, six police officers – two of whom are black males and one of whom is a black female Sergeant – are about to be offered up on the altar of political correctness as sacrificial lambs.

Meanwhile, in Baltimore, as concrete blocks were being tossed at police in riot gear and minority businesses set on fire by those without jobs, back in Queens Village, New York, 25-year-old NYPD officer Brian Moore, a Long Island kid from a family of New York City police officers, didn’t realize it, but his life was about to end.

Following in his retired-cop dad Raymond’s footsteps, Moore was an undercover cop on the force for just five short years and the fifth NYPD police officer to be shot in five months.

While Al Sharpton was busy playing bodyguard to Mayor Rawlings-Blake, Brian Moore, on duty with Officer Erik Jansen in an unmarked police car, was shot in the head by Demetrius Blackwell, a 35-year-old black man who probably has as much love for cops as most of the rioters in Baltimore.

Moore noticed a suspicious-looking Blackwell on the street, pulled up behind the man who has been in and out of jail for the past two decades and merely asked, “Do you have something in your waist?’’

The young police officer’s intuition was accurate, because in response to being questioned Demetrius said “Yeah, I got something,” pulled a stolen Taurus Model 85 revolver from his waistband and opened fire on the two officers.

Unlike Ramos and Liu, who both died, this time only Moore was injured. After extensive surgery, an induced coma, being on life support for two days, and suffering a severe brain bleed, Brian Moore’s blood pressure dropped and he died.

Adding to the drama, at the time of Moore’s death, President Obama, a man who is certainly no stranger to racial controversy, was in New York City. Obama was in the Big Apple to block traffic, promote his “My Brother’s Keeper Alliance” initiative at Lehman College in the Bronx, attend a couple of Democrat fundraisers, and yuck it up with David Letterman.

As a wall of blue saluted the police vehicle slowly leaving Jamaica Hospital with the body of Brian Moore onboard, Obama had this to say:

“New York’s finest lost one of its own today, Brian Moore… And the family and fellow officers he joined in the NYPD and across the country deserve our gratitude and prayers not just today but every day.”

Predictably, the president missed an opportunity to bring balance to an out-of-balance racial situation by mentioning that ex-con “brother” Blackwell, who has a long history of jail time and violence, was the one who did the abusing this time, not the cops.

The truth is that the president’s perfunctory acknowledgment of Moore’s death does not make up for his numerous “police-acted-stupidly” remarks over the years, like the time in 2014 when he pointed out to disgruntled black men that “the criminal justice system doesn’t treat people of all races equally.”

Maybe Obama’s “My Brother’s Keeper” initiative should stop with all the excuse-making for “brothers” who sell drugs, loot businesses, or worse yet, shoot guns with bullets that tear apart the brain stems of young police officers.

With that in mind, the last thing two young NYPD cops probably wanted was to become famous for is inciting racial unrest in New York City. That’s why one can’t help but wonder if perhaps, in an effort to be non-threatening to “Hell-Raiser”, aka Demetrius Blackwell, when Moore and Jansen encountered him fidgeting with his waistband, the two cops hesitated to draw their own weapons.

And so as Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, Marilyn Mosby, Al Sharpton, and frequent David Letterman guest Barack Obama promise justice for the likes of Freddie Gray, instead of becoming the next Darrin Wilson, Brian Moore, will be laid to rest.

In the end, whether Barack Obama wants to admit it or not, NYPD Officer Brian Moore is just as much a victim of politicians who grab for power by inciting animosity among those who, inspired by Obama/Sharpton bombast, feel vindicated murdering cops, as he is a thug with a stolen gun.

Hillary on Police Brutality

As part of her desperate attempt to reinsert herself into the White House, Hillary Clinton, who now has coded sexism on her radar, has added police brutality and racial injustice to her list of concerns.

And trust me, Hillary Clinton knows a thing or two about race.  After all, she’s married to America’s first black president, Bill Clinton, and can quote the lyrics of black Gospel songs with an inflection so authentic that if the late Queen of Gospel, Mahalia Jackson, were to hear it, she would surely shout, “Glory, hallelujah.”

Hillary is a woman who “don’t feel no ways tired … [and she] … don’t believe He brought [her] this far to leave [her]” stranded in Chappaqua baking cookies for a guy who spends time partying with perverts on “Orgy Island.”

That’s why the presidential hopeful has come up with a timely plan on how to monitor unruly law enforcement and safeguard misunderstood black rioters.

Recently, in a keynote speech given at the David N. Dinkins Leadership and Public Policy Forum at Columbia University in New York City, Clinton, a woman who “unmistakably and undeniably” refuses to address issues such as Benghazi, uranium to Russia, or 30,000 missing e-mails, preached to the choir that now is the time to address the “unmistakable and undeniable” racial patterns exhibited by America’s police.

Hillary, who shouted, “What difference at this point does it make?” when referring to four dead Americans in Benghazi, shared that “[a]s a citizen, a human being, my heart breaks” for the young black men killed at the hands of law enforcement.

At Columbia University, the woman who has refused to come to terms with some hard truths about her husband, herself, and the vast history of dishonesty that infuses their political careers discussed blacks and alleged police brutality by saying, “We have to come to terms with some hard truths about race and justice in America.”

Then, elevating imperiousness and total lack of self-awareness to a whole new level, the shamelessly out-of-balance Hillary stressed: “We have allowed our criminal justice system to get out of balance and these recent tragedies should galvanize us to come together as a nation to find our balance again.”

Before sharing these views, Hillary, who generally refuses to answer questions, demanded answers on Twitter concerning the death of Freddie Gray, the black man at the center of the Baltimore riots.

But when appearing live, Mrs. Clinton floated policy proposals that she said she feels need to be implemented “on our streets, in our courthouses, in our jails and prisons, in communities too long neglected.”

Predictably, in that speech, Hillary, who, together with Bill, has amassed a fortune allegedly totaling upwards of $50 million, broached the subject of income inequality by linking that topic to the streets of Ferguson and Baltimore.

According to the woman with a carpetbag stuffed to the gills with dirty money, and who, if asked a question, is honest about absolutely nothing, “[w]e also have to be honest about gaps that exist across our country, the inequality that stalks our streets.”

When Mrs. Clinton practiced law in Arkansas, her lawyering skills kept a child rapist out of jail.  Forty years later, Hillary is arguing that now is the “time to change our approach. It is time to end the era of mass incarceration.”  According to Ms. Hillary, “[w]e need a true national debate about how to reduce our prison population while keeping our communities safe.”

Maybe before the presumptive Democrat presidential nominee opens the prison doors and sets the captives free, she should spend a few hours speaking with the elderly nun who was recently raped in a home invasion by 27-year-old Juan Rudolph, an hour from Baltimore in Prince George’s County, Maryland.

Back when Bill was president, Hillary promoted her husband’s 1994 crime bill, which, in the present political climate and according to her latest comments, she apparently now feels is either counterproductive to reducing crime or, more likely, a hindrance to her getting elected.

Nevertheless, in her keynote speech, Hillary, the wise old sage of matrimonial bliss, shared advice with her audience she should have been following in her own marriage for the last forty years but hasn’t: “missing husbands, missing fathers, missing brothers” bring “profound consequences” to families.

And while up to that point everything Hillary Clinton said at the forum reeked of profound hypocrisy, the absolute pièce de résistance came when the former first lady called for body cameras to be the “norm everywhere,” saying:

We should make sure that every police department in the country has body cameras to record interaction between officers on patrol and suspects.  That will improve transparency and accountability … [and] will help protect good people on both sides of the lens.

Then again, putting aside the obvious double standard of Hillary’s proposal, under the right conditions, the body cam does have the potential to be a valuable tool.  And to prove it, on behalf of keeping the nation’s police in line and extending racial justice to black youth, Hillary Clinton should test-drive the idea herself.

For starters, Mrs. Clinton can illustrate how well body cameras work for moderating bad behavior by pinning one on her horndog husband to “record [his] interactions” with, oh, let’s say, underage girls.

As for Hillary, sadly, she missed the opportunity to record the fateful night the U.S. Special Forces in Libya were told to “stand down,” or the day she and Bill sold uranium to the Russians for big bucks, or the afternoon two years after leaving office when, before wiping clean her personal e-mail server, she corresponded with 30,000 yoga enthusiasts.

But it’s never too late!  If Hillary Clinton really wants to “improve transparency and accountability,” henceforth and for the remainder of her presidential campaign she’ll have the perfect opportunity to set the example by attaching that tell-all body camera she’s so excited about to the lapel of her own pantsuit.

Hillary Clinton’s gives odd comments at pro-abortion event on “all of our people” living up to “God-given potential”

Hillary Clinton raised eyebrows at the EMILY’s List 30th anniversary gala in Washington DC. EMILY’s List is a pro-choice organization that prides itself on “igniting change…[by] getting pro-choice Democratic women elected to office.” The organization oppose all restrictions on abortion and has been vocal in support of late-term and even partial birth abortion in which a child is fully delivered except for their head before being killed by inserting a sharp object at the base of the skull. In 2002, EMILY’s List wrote off supporting Democrat Mary Landrieu after she voted against partial birth abortion despite an other long record of supporting other abortion procedures.

According to Stephanie Schriock, the group’s president, Grandma Hillary was feted with the ‘We Are EMILY Award’  for her leadership “as a fighter for women and families.’”

The former Secretary of State had attention grabbing word choice when she commended the audience, referring to the group as  a “room full of women and men who recognize the importance of making sure that all of our people have a chance to live up to their God-given potential.”

Hillary then played the Grandma Card, saying that the glow she had was not from high blood pressure resulting  from being embroiled in an email scandal,  but instead, from “a six months in…grandmother glow,” which she told the group is “better than any spa treatment…I highly recommend it.”

Wait! Who exactly is Hillary recommending give birth?

Clearly, Grandma Clinton doesn’t recognize the dichotomy she poses when she advocates for of most barbaric abortions while simultaneously recommending EMILY’s List  daughters give birth to grandchildren.

Either way, Hillary “ignited change” at a death-affirming function for a 30-year-old group that works hard to promote feticide.  While there Mrs. Clinton referenced the Creator and applauded the “God-given potential” of  mothers who chose to deny 53 million children their God-given right to life.

And to drive the point home, at a gala for an organization that believes in aborting 3,000 Charlottes a day, Hillary Clinton confused the issue by referencing  her own six-month-old grand baby Charlotte who, unlike the babies a glowing Hillary approves of aborting, made it out of Chelsea’s womb alive.

‘Deadly Earnest’ Joe Campaigns for Mitt

Originally posted at American Thinker blog

The reason Joe Robinette Biden is sort of endearing is because whenever he tries too hard to relate to the little people, he always tells the unvarnished truth. One Biden supporter, described Joe Biden this way “He’s honest, he’s forthright and he says what’s on his mind.”  That’s for sure.

It was at a rally in Charlotte, North Carolina where Joe Biden warned voters that if elected, out-of-touch Mitt Richie Rich Romney would raise taxes on the middle class.  Biden’s reference to tax cuts for the rich drew jeers from the crowd, but in classic Joe Biden style, the Vice President told the hecklers to “stop all the malarkey.”

Then “deadly earnest” Joe explained how higher taxes would be devastating for the middle class after being “buried” for four years under Barack Obama’s economy.

The logic behind that astonishing statement goes something like this:  Obama has “buried” the middle class for four years. So, vote for Barack Obama a second time because being “buried” for eight years is a whole lot better than fixing the economy and putting America back to work.

Prior to making his main point, an animated Joe, pleading man-to-man, emphasized the seriousness of the situation when he said, “This is deadly earnest, man. This is deadly earnest.”

Capturing the attention of 1,000 supporters, Biden, who seems to love saying everything twice or more, asked: “How they can justify, how they can justify raising taxes on the middle class that has been buried the last four years – how in Lord’s name can they justify raising their taxes with these tax cuts?”

Even if it were true that Romney planned to raise taxes, which it is not, after being buried by Mount Vesuvius it’s highly unlikely the citizens of Pompeii would grumble about a tax hike.

Therefore, a better question for Joe to have had asked would have been:  “Hey man, the largest tax increase in history is about to knock out what’s left of the middle-class, why in ‘Lord’s name’ was I sent out here to criticize Mitt Romney?”

Kirsten Kukowski, spokeswoman for the Republican National Committee, and Romney/Ryan campaign spokeswoman Amanda Henneberg were quick to agree with Mr. Biden’s unabashed truthfulness.  Amanda said:

Vice President Biden made a stunning admission today and we couldn’t agree more: the middle class has been ‘buried’ under the last four years of this President’s policies. Under President Obama, the middle class has suffered from crushing unemployment, rising prices and falling incomes. They can’t afford to be ‘buried’ for four more years.

In response, a Biden spokesperson was immediately sent out to translate JoeSpeak into English.  The aide explained that what the Vice President was really trying to convey was that regular Americans suffered because of – you guessed it – President George W. Bush’s failed economic policies.

Yet, despite another in a long list of gaffes, there is one redeeming factor for Joe in all of this — a “queasy stomach.” Biden’s plane aborted an attempted landing in North Carolina and nausea may turn out to be the perfect excuse for Mr. Biden’s forthright rectitude.

In the end, what Gotta’ Love Him Joe apparently didn’t realize was that his “the middle class has been buried the last four years” comment provided priceless debate ammunition for Romney.  Therefore, if Obama chooses to relegate “deadly earnest” Biden to a long overdue timeout, maybe Republicans can convince Joe to spend that down time starring in an upcoming Romney/Ryan campaign ad.
