Obama, in radical mosque, calls for other religions to be tolerant

As the body count at the hand of Islamic extremists continues to rise in America, shouldn’t the president be trying to come up with a way to defend Judeo-Christian types, who cling to guns and the Bible, from Islamic jihadi types who cling to machetes and the Quran?

Guess not, because for his first visit to a U.S. mosque, Obama chose a congregation where a Sudanese native and former member of the Muslim Brotherhood, Mohamed Adam el-Sheikh, was chief imam for almost twenty years.

Why would a U.S. president even give credence to a congregation once led by a man who also lent a hand in founding the Muslim American Society, a Muslim Brotherhood-established organization interested in advancing sharia law?

Does Obama not care that in his spare time, the current executive director of the Fiqh Council of North America, an association of Islamic legal scholars, also helped found the notorious Dar Al-Hijrah mosque, led by the late al-Qaeda terrorist Anwar al-Awlaki?  Or that in 2004, while still serving as imam of the Islamic Society of Baltimore, el-Sheikh discussed Palestinian suicide bombers with the Washington Post?

If certain Muslims are to be cornered where they cannot defend themselves, except through these kinds of means, and their local religious leaders issued fatwas to permit that, then it becomes acceptable as an exceptional rule, but should not be taken as a principle.

Even the alleged terrorist-affiliated Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) commended Obama’s decision to visit the Islamic Society of Baltimore, saying:

For a number of years, we’ve been encouraging the president to go to an American mosque.  With the tremendous rise in anti-Muslim sentiment in our country, we believe that it will send a message of inclusion and mutual respect.

“Inclusion and mutual respect”?

Maybe CAIR should tell that to the two homosexual men murdered by devout Muslim-American/convicted sex offender Ali Muhammad Brown, who, after rinsing the blood off his hands, went on to avenge Muslim deaths overseas by also executing 19-year-old college student Brendan Tevlin at a traffic light.

Prior to the president showing up in Baltimore, White House spokesperson Josh “Not So” Earnest had this to say:

I think the president is quite interested in making sure that we’re affirming the important role that Muslims play in our diverse American society and certainly affirming their right to worship God in a way that’s consistent with their heritage.

Question: Who exactly is not upholding “the important role that Muslims play in our diverse American society”?  And in the 3,186 mosques located in cities all across America, which people are having their “right to worship God in a way that’s consistent with their heritage” thwarted?

Furthermore, rather than worrying about the 3 million Muslims steadily progressing toward becoming the second largest religion in America, maybe Josh should be making sure that, despite Obama, the Little Sisters of the Poor retain their “right to worship God in a way that’s consistent with their heritage.”

Meanwhile, the president descended on the Islamic Society of Baltimore, which is sort of like preaching about being less discriminatory toward Christians from the pulpit of the hateful Westboro Baptist Church.

In Baltimore, Obama mentioned bullied Muslim children and vandalized mosques and lauded Ibtihaj Muhammad, a 2016 female Olympian who plays with swords while dressed in a hijab.  Then he pointed out that “we have to understand: an attack on one faith is an attack on all our faiths.”

One small problem!  This is the guy who consistently assaults certain faiths.

In 2009, prior to a speaking engagement at Georgetown University’s Gaston Hall, Obama requested the crucifixes be covered up.  That same year, in order to have a “non-religious” Christmas, Obama suggested that the East Room Nativity be relocated.  Likewise, the president has blamed Christianity for lives lost during the Crusades and regularly ridicules the Christian faith with snide remarks.

As for God’s chosen people, Obama insulted Jews at a White House Hanukah celebration; publicly dissed Bibi Netanyahu; and, worse yet, minimized the threat posed by providing a genocidal anti-Semitic revolutionary theocratic state a pathway to a nuclear bomb.

Not to mention the president’s failure to acknowledge the worldwide genocide being waged by Muslims against Christians, or ignoring the fact that in America, Jews are ten times more likely than Muslims to be targeted for a hate crime.

Advocating for Islam seems to be Barack “that’s not who we are'” Obama’s most ardent public relations effort.  In his recent State of the Union address, anyone perceived to be indulging in what he perceives as anti-Muslim bigotry was publicly rebuked when he said:

When politicians insult Muslims, whether abroad or our fellow citizens, when a mosque is vandalized, or a kid called names, that doesn’t make us safer. That’s not telling it like it is. It’s just wrong. It diminishes us in the eyes of the world.

How about when Muslim extremists living in the U.S. shoot and kill 14 people at a Christmas party; behead a co-worker at a food distribution plant; or, “on a mission from Allah,” stab a store clerk to death?  Does that “make us safer”?

Besides, how is America elevated in the eyes of the world if our president remains silent after Islamic extremists behead two Coptic Christians in New Jersey, or slit the throats of three Jewish men in Massachusetts?

Since Barack Obama ascended from the mean streets of Chicago to the Oval Office in 2009, there have been approximately 64 people murdered by Muslim extremists on U.S. soil, and that’s not counting the number of American deaths at the hands of Muslims overseas.

And yet, in another attempt to address what Barack Obama calls a “hugely distorted impression” of Islam, the one suffering from what perceives in others hoped to remedy the problem by commiserating with the guilty at a radical mosque in Baltimore.

Watch the Good Guys and Leave the Terrorists Alone

Barack Obama alleges that snooping is in the nation’s best interest because it is a powerful tool needed to keep Americans safe from dangerous terrorists. Yet, taking political correctness to a whole new level of lunacy, mosques, where terrorist types like to mingle with likeminded people, are currently off-limits to spying, snooping, and undercover stakeouts.

That’s right — cell phones are being tapped, keystrokes on computers are being logged and email intercepted and read; but mosques, which are home base for homegrown terrorists, are strictly off-limits to counterterrorism efforts.

Apparently this is how it works: Let’s say law enforcement is looking for a serial murderer who’s known to take a cooking class or two before butchering his victims. So to prevent non-murdering chefs from being offended, the thing to do would be to avoid looking in culinary schools for the killer. Right?

Then, while the Killer Chef hides in a cookery sharpening his meat cleavers, the FBI should spend most of its time surveilling florists, shoe stores, and yoga classes. To avoid insulting Jeffrey Dahmer types, the protocol must be to never ever search for suspicious-looking characters in places where lust killers with cannibalistic tendencies are likely to hang out.

And why, pray tell, if we can’t look for Muslim terrorists in Muslim mosques, is the Obama administration demanding gun owners register firearms? Why are gun shows and gun shops being scrutinized by undercover goons? In other words, if we apply the Muslim terrorist/mosque logic, if the Second Amendment is such a dire threat to the safety of America, gun shops should be the last place Obama looks for gun owners.

Since 2011, in order to investigate or go undercover to find terrorists in mosques, which is supposed to be what the prying program is all about, according to Investor’s Business Daily FBI agents need “high-level approval from a special oversight body at the Justice Department dubbed the Sensitive Operations Review Committee.” The SORC is a DOJ-appointed body made up of a chairman, members, and staff, all of whose identities are top secret.

If by chance one should suspect a sleeper cell is in a neighborhood nearby, fret not; just dial up the Sensitive Operations Review Committee. If no one answers, leave a message, because the SORC may be on a Sensitive Operations mission in Mexico supplying high-powered rifles to drug cartels and will no doubt promptly return the call as soon as they return.

In all seriousness, the Sensitive Operations Review panel was set up in response to Islamist groups who were offended that mosques were the targets of FBI stings looking for Muslim extremists. Apparently the ACLU and CAIR sued the FBI for surreptitiously staking out jihadists in Los Angeles mosques. Both organizations defined looking for Islamist extremists where Islamic extremists assemble as a violation of Muslim civil rights.

Prior to current don’t-hurt-Muslim-feelings insanity being instituted, reports claim that there were dozens of fruitful sting operations conducted where potential terrorism was thwarted and American lives saved.

Can’t have that! Therefore, with Obama in charge, if the procedures were working, the thing to do is to stop diligently monitoring any potential breeding grounds for homegrown jihadists.

That’s why the Boston Bombers, who supposedly were inspired by Doku Umarov, a Chechen terrorist known as Russia’s bin Laden, successfully blew up a pressure cooker filled with ball bearings, nails, and BBs at an iconic marathon, killing three and maiming 264.

The duo could have been stopped. Tragically, they weren’t because while Tamerlan Tsarnaev was exhibiting “rage filled rants” and mocking Martin Luther King Jr. during worship service at the Islamic Society of Boston Cultural Center, reconnaissance efforts were focused on more pressing threats such as the whereabouts of tea party members, pro-lifers, ex-military men, Christians, and political conservatives.

It wasn’t until after the Boston Marathon bombing that Tsarnaev’s Cambridge, Massachusetts mosque was identified, and even then, to avoid “jumping to conclusions,” counterterrorism officials hesitated to suggest that the Imam could help identify the Tsarnaev brothers from the images captured on video from the day of the bombing.

Because hey, even though it’s been alleged that violent jihad is being preached inside some American mosques, acknowledging that fact and monitoring where jihadists worship would cut in on the precious time needed to track, crack down on, and harass American citizens who terrorize the country by bitterly clinging to the First and Second Amendment.

The Cocoa-Puff Challenge

Lieutenant Colonel Allen West (R-FL) can hardly host a town hall meeting or public event without being harassed by rowdy protesters who resent the Florida Congressman’s conservative politics.  West’s events are regularly disrupted by “sunshine blowing” CAIR activists, former Air America radio hosts, Robocall campaigners, and confused white women who mistakenly criticize West over issues they actually agree upon.

Always the gentleman, Allen West has even been accused by Democratic National Committee chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) of wearing “extreme disrespect as a badge of honor.”  Debbie believes West “thinks it’s ok to objectify and denigrate women.” Rest assured, if such an outrageous accusation was hurled in Barack Obama’s direction the media would interpret it, as a racial slur, insinuating that the accuser believes the hip-hop culture, notorious for “objectifying and denigrating women,” is endemic to all men of color.

Funny, when Debbie made the remark the NAACP and Al Sharpton didn’t demand an explanation for such a racially narrow-minded, Harry Reid, “light-skinned-lack-of-Negro-dialect” comment. Maybe it’s because besides having coffee and donuts with Joe Biden the left is otherwise occupied with identifying and rooting out every trace of explicit and “‘implicit’ (or unconscious) prejudice” wherever it manifests.

The left-wing media, together with the Democrat Party, work in tandem to keep the issue of prejudicial intolerance alive, even going so far as to say that public rejection of a healthcare policy instituted by the first African-American/bi-racial president is rooted in racism. In liberal circles, it’s understood that when Americans reject health care reform, it’s not loss of quality and choice or the threat of rationing or denied benefits that cause a negative public response, it’s purely a melanin issue – just ask racism Geiger counter Chris Matthews.

If increased numbers are a true measure for success and if Newt Gingrich calling Obama “The most successful food stamp president in American history” resulted in Newt being labeled a racist, why wasn’t the liberal female who bombarded Allen West with “coded racially-tinged language” also accused of racism?

Those on the left have redefined a “racist” as any person who disagrees with a black liberal’s policy. If a white American opposes anything Obama says, does, or bumbles – it’s automatically defined as racism.  Remember Jimmy Carter, the Nobel Peace Prize-winning ex-President who simultaneously expressed the opinion and instigated racial tension by saying that those with differing opinions who stand “against Obama have been influenced to a major degree by a belief that he should not be president because he happens to be African American?”

Even black presidential hopeful Herman Cain recognized the absurdity of such a statement when he said: “People who oppose Obama are said to be racists – so I guess I’m a racist.” Yet a similar logic is never extended toward black conservatives when liberal whites oppose their politics, because men like Colonel Allen West and Herman Cain don’t count due to their Uncle Tom status.

It could be that the media ignores slurs directed toward Allen West because according to the left’s standards he’s been spared the same level of mean-spirited racial attacks as those suffered by Barack.

Think of it – West has had zero debate surrounding his place of birth, which was Atlanta Georgia; religion, which is Christian; or missing college transcripts from the University of Tennessee, Kansas State or US Army Command and General Staff Officer College.  Not one single person has mentioned West’s pastor or cast aspersions on his race or background by linking him with radical associates.

Moreover, unlike Obama, thus far Mr. West has avoided bigoted questions surrounding racial hot potatoes like government spending and health care reform.

Nonetheless, the black Florida Congressman did receive a “non-toxic” albeit suspicious “white powder substance” in the mail.  He had his Social Security number disclosed in a Democrat Party “opposition mailer,” and coincidentally managed to settle in a town with the slavery-suggestive name Plantation, Florida, all of which could have been but is yet-to-be interpreted as color-driven bigotry.

One possible reason the issue of race is ignored for some and over-emphasized with others may hinge upon affiliation with Tea Party activists with whom the African American Allen West identifies.  If racist tendencies are determined purely on acceptance or rejection of all things Obama then according to liberals, even disagreeable black politicians can be racists, especially if associated with the Tea Party, which liberals are convinced is one hood short of the Ku Klux Klan.

Allen West, a victim of attacks that would certainly be interpreted as racist if his political persuasion tended left, shared his observations on the subject of media dismissal of what would be deemed racism if it were happening to Barack Obama: “I find it interesting that in all of these instances, the media simply dismissed the incidents. One might wonder – is it open season on a principled black conservative?  I wonder what the reaction would have been if I were a Democrat?”

Truth is, in an effort to take the spotlight off a seething boil called the Obama presidency, the media is gearing up to make race the central issue in the 2012 campaign. The game plan is to brand everyone a racist, including black candidates whose politics don’t align with President Obama’s, while at the same time dismissing what would otherwise be considered offensive if directed toward the President.

For example, on Fox News, liberal talk radio host/ Fox contributor Alan Colmes told Jamie Colby and Republican Tea Party pundit Angela McGlowan that both Herman Cain and Allen West were “Coo-coo for Cocoa Puffs®.” Racist watchdog Colmes never mentioned Sugar Pops® or the diverse multi-colored cereal Trix® and thankfully refrained from adding Count Chocula® to the mix.

Inane silliness aside, if the Obama race-baiting left refuses to discontinue the insanity then the right needs to demand equal time.  For starters, why not stipulate that racially-tinged slurs tying together brown cereal and being cuckoo with black conservatives be publicly acknowledged as racism by those who blindly throw around such baseless allegations.

Moreover, if the left insists on using a bizarre “food-stamp-president” paradigm to identify racists, then references to Cocoa Puffs and allusions to hip-hop mentality should certainly qualify for inclusion in the bigotry blame fest. The bottom line is this: If liberals make rules based on absurd criteria, black conservatives should be willing to help expose their illogic by demanding the left submit to the same standards to determine what is and is not racism that those on the left demand of everyone else.
