Dems doing what they accuse Republicans of

7b373ae1f0cc2ea4b05fb48758fb165dOriginally posted at American Thinker

Psychological projection is the tendency to project one’s own negative qualities onto someone else. That is exactly the element at work within a political party that has forged a reputation for accusing its political adversaries of what they’re guilty of doing themselves.

Last year, Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) took a lot of heat from the left when he made the comment that free school lunches offer children a “full stomach and an empty soul.” Ryan’s point was that a meal provided by a loving mom is more gratifying and dignified than being spoon-fed from cradle to grave by a cold, bureaucratic Nanny State.

The indignant left trumpeted Ryan’s message as follows: Republicans want to starve poor children to death!

Now, just a year later, a school lunch program overseen by Mrs. Okra, I mean Obama, implements exactly what liberals accused Ryan of endorsing.

From the looks of things, the left was jockeying to orchestrate bureaucratic food deprivation, because based on what’s showing up on lunch trays lately, it appears that Democrats didn’t want to be outdone by Republicans in the starvation department. Currently, under the guise of healthy eating, the School Nutrition Association, together with Mama Obama, metes out food portions so meager and paltry that Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids are fast becoming ravenous and emaciated.

Besides, if that young upstart Paul Ryan had managed to convince Americans that hearty bagged lunches were the way to go, how, pray tell, could Calorie Control Central continue to serve a 6’5” high school football players a cup of fruit, a cup of vegetables, two ounces of grain, two ounces of meat, and a cup of milk and pass it off as lunch?

Back in 2012, when speaking with Al Sharpton of MSNBC’s Politics Nation, left-wing congressman Barney Frank (D- MA) accused Ryan of wanting kids to starve. Frank told Sharpton:

These are right-wingers who have this philosophy, going back to Ayn Rand that says we should not come together to do things for the common good. That individualism is the answer, and that everybody should be on his or her own. So feeding poor children, cleaning up the atmosphere, putting out fires in older cities: those are things for which they would deny funding.

Based on the “accuse others of what I’m guilty of” premise, Barney’s statement certainly explains why the proponents of “cleaning up the atmosphere” have the largest carbon footprints, and why those who are so concerned about “putting out fires in older cities” are the ones starting unquenchable fires everywhere from the Middle East to Ferguson, Missouri. Moreover, it also clarifies why the left considers it part of the “common good,” by way of the school lunch program, to deliberately deprive growing children of adequate nutrition.

After all, when government does such a bang-up job of breaking what doesn’t need fixing and worsening what needed only minor repairs, Barney Frank is right – far be it from me to believe the baloney that “individualism [in the form of a PB&J sandwich] is the answer, and that everybody should be on his or her own.”

It was during the heated FY2012 budget debate that Paul Ryan’s economic “path to prosperity” dared to suggest repealing Obamacare and (heaven forbid) privatizing Medicare.

The left was apoplectic, and even came out with an ad that featured a Ryan lookalike pushing an elderly “grandmother” off a cliff. Erica Payne of the Agenda Project, the progressive group sponsoring the ad, said America’s elderly would be put in a “bad spot” if Ryan’s “immoral” budget deficit plan passed.

In response, Fox News host Neil Cavuto accused Ms. Payne of “fear-mongering,” saying, “You are saying that an attempt to rein in the growth of an entitlement program that … [is] going to be running out of money five years earlier than we thought is akin to pushing Grandma over a cliff?”

Yes, Neil, that is exactly what Erica was saying. Because just as with the deplorable school lunch program, liberals were accusing the right of making the immoral choices liberals themselves had plans to enact. The difference is that their idea involves literally seizing control over life and death. In fact, the brother of Chicago mayor Rahm Emanuel, Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, chair of the Department of Medical Ethics and Health Policy at the University of Pennsylvania, admitted it.

As one of the architects of Obamacare, the good doctor does not recommend euthanasia per se, but he does believe that medical care should be denied after the age of – ready for this? – 75, which would make way for what oncologist James Salwitz calls the “75 Plan.”

Much as Michelle Obama feels qualified to determine what Americans should and shouldn’t eat, apparently Zeke has decided he’s qualified to dictate when Americans should or shouldn’t die. Emanuel argues, “Society and families – and you – will be better off if nature takes its course swiftly and promptly.”

Dr. Emanuel said that at age 65, he intends to stop diagnostic tests, and at 75, unless he’s going for palliative care, he will no longer visit the doctor. That kind of talk coming from an Obamacare architect/advisor forebodes a future where Medicare funding is stopped at a predetermined age. In other words, health care is about to be school-lunch-sized.

There you have it. Liberals accuse Paul Ryan of starving children and wanting to throw Granny off a cliff.

Then, the first chance they get, via a government-funded school lunch program, Ryan’s accusers withhold food from the very children they claim need to be fed. And, for so-called cost efficiency, they would save old ladies from Paul Ryan just so they can dump both Granny and her wheelchair over the Obamacare cliff.

Beyoncé Loses Hair Extensions in Brush with Fan

BeyonceOriginally posted at BIG Hollywood

Situation Room visitor, White House frequenter, and object of Michelle Obama idolatry Queen Bey/Beyoncé/Mrs. Carter of the Mrs. Carter Show Tour got her coif caught in a fan.  Not a fan-fan like a stage fan, but one of those used to blow around J. Lo’s or Beyoncé’s flowing locks in order to make them look like they’re able to maintain the glamour edge in the midst of a 100 mph hurricane gale.

Reminiscent of the late Michael Jackson’s hair catching fire during the taping of a Pepsi commercial, Beyoncé, Pepsi’s newest spokesperson, had her hair entangled in the fan blades mid-song while she was performing her hit Halo. Bey should be thanking God that she wasn’t wearing that anatomically correct outfit that she dons during the concert because there might have been something besides her hair that needed to be cut loose.

Fresh off joining another guy known for his famous hair, the Rev. Al Sharpton, at the ‘Justice 4 Trayvon’ rally at One Penn Plaza in New York City, Beyoncé was in Montreal when the calamitous fan attack occurred.

Ever the consummate professional, she continued to sing while her hair was stuck in the fan, proving to America that having the constrictive presence of President Barack Obama twisting us into contorted positions is not a good reason to use pain as an excuse to stop moving FORWARD.

As Beyoncé tried in vain to release her tresses from the grip of the overzealous machine, an attentive servant, er, crew member grabbed a pair of scissors and cut Beyoncé’s Virgin Remy Malaysian hair extensions from the blades. To be truthful, the fan was just minding its own business when it was accosted by Queen Bey’s lion’s mane and then falsely accused of tangling up the pop star’s blonde mop in its whirling blades.

After the show, famous letter-writer Beyoncé posted an expressive explanation in longhand for her audience to read, explaining that during the song when she sang “Halo, ooh ooh, oh,” the wince on her face had nothing to do with the “…ooh ooh, oh” part and everything to do with having her extensions nearly torn from her scalp while attempting to look ultra-cool at Montreal’s Bell Center.

Displaying a creative mix of upper and lower case lettering as well as an overabundance of the letter “i,” the paraphrase of the song Halo read:  “Gravity can’t begiiiiiiiin to pull me out of the fan again.  I felt my hair was YANKIIIIIIIIN, from the fan that’s always hatiiiiiiiin, Virgin Remy & “Malay SIIIIIIAAAAAAN, HAAAAAAAAA!!”

Beyoncé summed up the note by saying: “I got snatched…‘2 snaps’” and ended with “Goodnight All, B.”

Lesson to be gleaned from the weave assault? In the future, Beyoncé should attempt to keep all hair extension-flicking to an absolute minimum, especially when sitting in front of a fan. However, in the worst case scenario, if it’s so important to have a wind machine in close proximity for effect while singing Halo, maybe Beyoncé should consider a hairdo like the one she wore in Cuba, or perhaps a protective Halo Helmet to go with that golden-breasted spacesuit she insists on wearing.

Racial Unrest and the ‘Duty to Retreat’

imagesOriginally posted at American Thinker blog

In response to the second degree murder acquittal of George Zimmerman, pro-Trayvon Martin supporters are expressing their displeasure with the verdict by storming shopping malls and pilfering drive-in markets. The point of the “tear up the city” rallies currently taking place across America is to loudly proclaim that an innocent teenager died because he had a run-in with a trigger-happy racist itching to kill a black boy.

In honor of Trayvon, bands of whipped-up teens are “running in and out of traffic, knocking people over on the sidewalks and snatching their belongings.” And so, rather than underscore Trayvon’s supposed virtuousness, roving marauders angered over the acquittal are substantiating the validity of Zimmerman’s claim that Trayvon broke his nose, threatened his life, and smashed his head on the sidewalk.

Sadly, as criticism is being directed toward the State of Florida, the duty to quell the anger of those wreaking havoc has taken a back seat to placating the race-baiters and convincing Americans that self-defense is never a viable option.

Meanwhile, in retaliation, innocent people are being preyed upon. Hollywood stars who employ armed personal bodyguards vow to boycott Florida because of stand-your-ground laws, the New Black Panthers placed a $10,000 bounty on Zimmerman’s head, and Jesse Jackson is inciting further animosity by calling the state of Florida an “apartheid state.” Civil rights leaders such as rape-hoax perpetrator Al Sharpton and Barack “Trayvon Martin could have been me” Obama seem more concerned with perpetuating a narrative of lingering racial bias than respecting established law.

Adding to the rancor, Eric Holder’, the man ultimately responsible for the distribution of “Fast and Furious” weaponry to Mexican drug cartels and the shooting death of two U.S. Border patrol agents, is self-righteously stirring up more fury by expressing the anti-self-defense opinion that if your life is in danger, you have a “duty to retreat.”

Someone should pull Mr. Holder aside and inform him that Ambassador Christopher Stevens was in the process of retreating when he was brutally sodomized and murdered.

Nevertheless, the explanation could be that self-defense is joining self-reliance as one more concept anathema in Obama’s America, because according to the chief law enforcement official of the United States, if your life is threatened, lace up your running shoes because retreat is the only acceptable option, and if Holder gets his way, the only legal option as well.

And that makes sense, because retreat from individual responsibility and self-reliance has already been pretty well established. The next logical step in the dismantling of American society as we know it would be to convince those being attacked to retreat from preserving property, life, and above all liberty. In other words, to retreat from everything that being an American used to mean.

Still, racial injustice rallies remain irrational. The truth is that tacitly encouraging lawlessness further damages the theory that Trayvon was an innocent victim. The vigilante “Justice 4 Trayvon” group unintentionally gives George Zimmerman’s story more credibility. Yet the Trayvon sympathizers who possess the authority to make a difference have chosen to allow rowdy protesters to act in a manner contrary to what they insist was Trayvon’s demeanor on the night he was shot.

Indeed, protesters behaving in a manner similar to what the neighborhood watch captain claims he encountered on the night his nose was broken and his head cut up proves that, regardless of what Eric Holder says, Americans, now more than ever, have a “duty to [refuse to] retreat.”

Another Al Sharpton ‘Movement’!

Billionaire rapper Jay Z and his wife Beyoncé lent their star presence to a rally in New York City headed up by Al Sharpton featuring Trayvon’s mother Sybrina Fulton, who was joined by her son Jahvaris Fulton.

Nationwide rallies were held demanding justice for Trayvon Martin, the teen who was shot and killed by George Zimmerman, a Neighborhood Watch volunteer who tragically crossed paths with Trayvon and who has since been acquitted of second-degree murder.

Over 100 rallies and vigils took place across the nation organized by the Reverend Al Sharpton, who is calling for the US Department of Justice to pursue civil rights charges against Zimmerman, even though he was acquitted in the state of Florida.

In the Big Apple, a diverse sea of New Yorkers showed up to stand for Trayvon by holding placards.

One protester’s sign quoted Barack Obama, who said, “I am Trayvon.” Another reached their own verdict with a sign saying “Guilty for stalking and murder.” There were fashion statements like “I love my hoodie,” patriotic expressions like “Justice for all Americans,” and Stevie Wonder fans encouraging Beyoncé to “Boycott Florida.”

Tearing up, Trayvon’s mother, who’s been thrust into the limelight, was met with shouts of “We love you.” Sybrina wept as she told the crowd, “Trayvon was no burglar [he stole jewelry], Trayvon is not here to speak for himself [obviously]. Trayvon was a child and sometimes I think that gets lost in the system.”  The last of which makes no sense at all.

At One Police Plaza, Jay Z, Mrs. Z, and Al Sharpton stood beside Sybrina Fulton. The quartet that included Shawn Corey Carter was a tad ironic, especially because Jay “Gangsta’ Sh*t” Z, whose lyrics extol the glories of the type of thug life Trayvon allegedly aspired to, could be considered partially responsible for the teen losing his life.

Although evidence showed that Trayvon broke Zimmerman’s nose, straddled him and was bashing his head against a sidewalk, Sybrina maintained, “George Zimmerman started the fight and George Zimmerman ended the fight.”

It was either that, or a few more bangs against the concrete and Mrs. Zimmerman would have been speaking at a memorial for her son.

Fulton said, “My son died without knowing who killed him. He died without knowing who his murdered [sic] was.” Yes he did – it was the “creepy ass cracka” who Trayvon treated to some “ground and pound” and threatened with the words, “You’re gonna die tonight.”

Former Governor Eliot Spitzer, that bastion of honesty and integrity, came out to support Martin and added his black socks to the discussion when he said that the Zimmerman/Martin ordeal is a “civil rights issue.” “Regardless of how you view the legality of the verdict in isolation, justice here was denied,” Spitzer opined, and “An innocent young man was shot and killed and that is a tragedy.”

Seeing as how Beyoncé chose not to lead another moment of silence for Trayvon, Spitzer (aka “Client #9”), saying that Trayvon was an “innocent young man” added gravitas to the event.

As for Beyoncé, it goes without saying that the performer was accompanied by a horde of armed bodyguards.

Nonetheless, when Queen Bey walked by protesters they shouted for her to follow Little Stevie Wonder’s lead of “No concerts in Florida!

Television Judge Greg Mathis was there criticizing stand-your-ground-laws, and said that legislation must be supported to overturn existing regulations in 30 states, including Florida. Mathis insisted,

“This backward state allows you to shoot first and ask no questions.”

Apparently this judge thinks verdicts should be questioned and an unbiased citizen jury reaching a verdict should be criticized for following the law.

George Zimmerman, stand-your-ground, and the trial verdict were not alone. NYPD was also dragged into the fray.  First they were accused of racial profiling, and then the stop-and-frisk policy was called into question.  Steven Shryack, 62, held a sign: “They never stop and frisk old white guys like me.”

Grandfather to a child of mixed race, Shryack asked “What kind of future does he face? I have the luxury of being white in this world. I have an unfair advantage.”  Steve should have spoken to Beyoncé about unfair advantage, because she’s a woman of mixed race whose future was severely impacted by being endowed with African-American, Louisiana Creole, and Native American blood.

Another protester from the East Village who, trust me, probably also plans to vote for Anthony Weiner and Eliot Spitzer, said the Zimmerman verdict was “a horrible injustice.”  And although Bill Clinton wasn’t in attendance, the East Villager did make a veiled reference to the former president when he said “There’s racism going on in our country and everybody tries to blow it off.”

Sharpton, age 58, who rides around in a limo with his 35-year-old “girlfriend,” told the crowd “We are going to fight for what is right. They used to say segregation is better than slavery, but they never sat in the back of the bus” – and neither did he.

With Jay Z and Beyoncé adding credence to his words, the Reverend Al managed to sum up the spirit of the whole day.

Melanin Meters and Other Survival Tools

New rules: Henceforth and in perpetuity, to further racial unity and get Al Sharpton to pack up the Brylcreem and go home, “Stand Your Ground” should officially be modified to mean, “If you’re a honky, stay on the ground.”

That’s right, if you’re a Florida resident and your personhood is being threatened, before defending yourself with a legal firearm, there are new guidelines that should be followed. After all, who wants Eric Holder and Barack Obama to be distracted from getting to the bottom of important things like Benghazi, the NSA, the IRS and “Fast and Furious?”

Americans are well aware that these two men are vehemently opposed to disregarding the law and, most importantly, they are great leaders who hate discounting innocence and making the acquitted wish that their white-Hispanic, white-Caucasian, white-Asian or white-Hawaiian/Pacific Islander asses were dead.

With that in mind, here are a few important guidelines to follow that will ensure that you contribute to racial unity, keep Barack and Eric on point, and don’t end up sharing a jail cell with a 400-pound convict named Bubba who believes in gay marriage and if given the chance, would change your name from Eddie to Betty.

So here goes:

1. Not yet on the market, a melanin meter would be a great little gadget for the creative entrepreneur to invent. Melameters would be scooped up by individuals trying desperately not to be labeled a racist or accused of defending themselves against someone whose race and ethnicity is in the government-assigned category of Black.

It would work like this: If the meter started buzzing, whites, regardless of what government racial category they fall into, could always pretend they like black people, and black Uncle Tom-types can disguise their intellect, civility, and patriotism by immediately leaving the “-er” off of every word and replacing it with an “a.”

But! If the worst should happen, and an individual who is not black or who falls into the shameful ‘Uncle Tom’ category should by chance be accosted by someone and the buzzer goes off, that means you must let the aggressor pummel the living daylights out of you.

2. When the pummeling does commence, there are some other tips, for the sake of racial unity, to get through it in a dignified manner.

a. First, acknowledge that, unless your head is split open on the sidewalk like a melon – not a watermelon, just a regular melon – it isn’t so bad, even if your orbital plate and nasal bones are fractured.

b. As the pummeling continues, keep in mind that no one lives forever.

c. Remember that an individual’s life should not take precedence over furthering racial justice.

d. If you happen to be an everyday black man with no axe to grind and your assailant is onto your proud American outlook, then you, as a black person, have the option to bring up Jay-Z, Reverend Al, and how proud you are of Barack Obama.

3. It may be tempting, but if you are armed with a legal firearm and it is accessible, whatever you do, don’t use it! Remember – disregard “Stand Your Ground.”

For “creepy-ass crackas” of any color, the new rule is to “Stay on the Ground.”

4. If you should happen to survive the attack and the cops arrive before you go into organ failure, for the sake of national unity and racial harmony, if you’re still able to speak, take full blame for the entire incident.

So – word to the wise: if some of these simple steps are followed, America will be a more peaceful nation.

In the same way white people were given preference in the workplace prior to Affirmative Action being established, “Stay on the Ground” is a newfangled form of Affirmative Action for thugs who feel it’s their turn to deliver payback for all those “creepy-ass cracka” racists who’ve already had their day in the sun.

Harry Belafonte Suggests that Barack Obama Jail Political Detractors

harry-belafonteOriginally posted at American Thinker blog

The “King of Calypso,” Hugo Chávez enthusiast, and “Banana Boat” crooner, octogenarian Harry Belafonte is so thrilled with the reelection of Barack Obama that he’s taken to cable “news” network MSNBC to share his views on how President Obama should deal with political nemeses.

In addition to singing, acting and songwriting, throughout his career Harry “Viva la revolucion” Belafonte has also promoted himself as a civil rights advocate and humanitarian.  In addition to issuing indictments like: “Our foreign policy has made a wreck of this planet,” Mr. Belafonte also heartily endorses the ailing Venezuelan President Hugo Chávez’s socialist revolution.

Once, when addressing the Venezuelan people, Harry Belafonte told his audience that George W. Bush was the “greatest terrorist” in the world. Another time, sounding more like he was describing the current president, Mr. Belafonte made the following statement about the former president: “I think [G.W.] Bush has a very selfish, arrogant point of view. I think he is interested in power, I think he believes his truth is the only truth, and that he will do what he wants to do despite the people.”

Leaving aside Belafonte’s hatred for Bush and his fondness for dictator-style governing, it’s still kind of alarming to hear that ole’ Harry suggested President Obama incarcerate American citizens who speak out against him.

The topic came up when Belafonte appeared as a guest on Al Sharpton’s Politics Nation.  Belafonte was on a panel with global human rights/social justice activist Kerry Kennedy, daughter of the late Senator Robert Kennedy and former wife of NY Governor Andrew Cuomo. During the interview, Harry, who passionately and stridently exercised his first amendment rights throughout the eight years former President G.W. Bush was in office, shared some stunning Hugo Chávez-style advice for Barack Obama.

Sharpton began the conversation by asking Belafonte:

Ah… ah…you’ve fought for decades for some of the ‘quote’ entitlements that the…ah… right wing wants to try and balance this budget… ah… balance the deficit off of.  As you look at this Medicaid, Medicare, Social Security…You’ve been an activist leader from Roosevelt, Eleanor Roosevelt, to Dr. King through Mandela to Obama.  How do you view this and what is the challenge for those that are on the field today?

Belafonte replied, “What I think has most attracted me to this whole process is watching the political maturity of the American people.” Clearly, Harry Belafonte defines reelecting a president who is in the process of establishing a socialist-style government as “political maturity.”

Nevertheless, Harry continued to elaborate:

Because there was a great question during the first election as to whether or not Barack would even be elected.  And after the turn out so emphatically put him in the presidency it was interesting to watch the second turn[out] when everybody really didn’t quite know what the game would be.

Without referring directly to the looming fiscal cliff and oblivious to the fact that Obama voters had no clue what Obama was really talking about, Harry came to the conclusion that the American people “[i]n their maturity declared themselves fully: ‘We want what Barack Obama is talking about.  We want the country to go in that direction’.”

Then, the celebrated humanitarian shared the inhumane sentiment that Obama’s political rivals are a “[l]ingering infestation of really corrupt people who sit trying to dismantle the wishes of the people, the mandate that has been given to Barack Obama.”

In the past, Belafonte has accused the Obama-loving American media of falsely portraying Chávez as a “dictator.” At the time, the singer/activist also shared the opinion that in Venezuela there is “democracy and [the] citizens are ‘optimistic about their future.'” What Belafonte failed to mention was that Hugo Chávez regularly imprisons political dissidents, calling them “common criminals.”

Hence, to deal with the threat of political dissension here in America, it’s not surprising that Harry Belafonte would suggest that the “only thing left for Barab…Barack Obama to do is to work like a third world dictator and just throw all these guys in jail [Sharpton/Kennedy nervously giggle] for violating the American desire.”

Harry Belafonte, who has always enjoyed the freedom to voice his oppressed/oppressor point of view, obviously never considered two-term president G. W. Bush a man whose reelection reflected a mandate, let alone an expression of “American desire.” Yet, suddenly, with the reappointment of Barack Obama, the singer feels emboldened to openly call for nonconformists with differing opinions to be imprisoned?

Even still, rather than expressing astonishment, Americans should thank Mr. Harry Belafonte for not only giving us that snappy Caribbean “Day-O” banana song, but more importantly for lending his voice to express the true heart and soul of the progressive left.

Sharpton Calling for Civil Disobedience

Originally posted at American Thinker blog

In response to the Sanford Police Department’s failure to arrest the man accused in the shooting death of Florida teen Trayvon Martin, a local chapter of the NAACP organized a march that planned to bus into Sanford, Florida a number of Skittle-eating, hoodie-wearing protestors from other states.

According to the Seminole County chapter president of the NAACP, Turner Clayton, the intent was for the “rallies …to show support from the community and show the special prosecutor that ‘we are interested in what happened, and we’re not going to stand by and let them do something that the people of Sanford will not accept.'”  Nothing wrong with that.

However, much to the chagrin of Mr. Turner, Al Sharpton will also attend the march.  Contrary to the polite and peaceful demonstration the NAACP had planned, if local law enforcement doesn’t obey the commands of the mob and immediately arrest George Zimmerman, Sharpton has upped the ante to include “civil disobedience.”

Full-time racial agitator, part-time preacher of the Gospel Al Sharpton calls his plan “mov[ing] it to the next level” and, trust me, he’s not talking about his hairdo.

Fiercely critical of the Sanford Police Department’s failure to arrest George Zimmerman, in addition to civil disobedience Sharpton has also threatened “economic sanctions,” which could only mean Al plans to buy his hair products elsewhere.

Mr. Clayton, after learning about Reverend Sharpton’s intent, issued the following statement:

We hope that the citizens of Sanford will govern themselves accordingly. We are not calling for any sanctions, against any business or anyone else. And, of course, what Rev. Sharpton does, that’s strictly the [National] Action Network.  We can’t condone that part of the conversation, if that’s what he said.”

With that kind of attitude, maybe Al Sharpton should protest Turner Clayton too!

Either way, the civil rights activist/MSNBC talk show host promised that at the march he would elaborate on how the National Action Network plans to “move it to the next level” if the shooter isn’t promptly arrested.

Defending against the accusation that he is once again shamelessly exploiting a tragedy, Sharpton added that it was Trayvon’s family, who call Zimmerman a “vigilante,” and their legal team who requested he make public the injustice of failing to arrest the neighborhood watch leader.

Sharpton, who was already fuming weeks ago, is presently up in arms over a recently released police video taken on the night of the shooting.  In it, Zimmerman’s hands are cuffed behind his back, but despite his claim of self-defense he looks uninjured in the grainy video.

Al Sharpton maintains that without blood evidence, broken bones and a sizable head gash, the video revelations only underscore the need for Zimmerman’s immediate arrest and trial.

Even if Zimmerman’s claims are true, it doesn’t matter, because according to the reverend, “Whether he had a swollen or broken nose, neither one means he had to take a 9mm and kill someone.”

In other words, being ambushed while walking to your car on a rainy night by a tall young man in a hoodie and allegedly having your nose broken and your head repeatedly smashed against the sidewalk does not justify defending yourself with any means available.

Now Sharpton is not only criticizing the way authorities have handled the case, but also the manner in which they’ve “released information.” Thus, Al Sharpton, the king of harmful precedents, is contending that by failing to arrest George Zimmerman the Sanford police are “setting a harmful precedent.”

At this juncture, Sharpton says that “It’s not about saying Zimmerman is innocent or guilty, this is about whether there was probable cause to arrest him.”  Which is largely true.  However, with Sharpton’s biased history one can’t help but wonder – if Trayvon had shot and killed George under the exact same circumstances, would Al have then deemed his arrest racially motivated?  Is the Pope Catholic?

Whatever happened to ‘bring us together’?

Originally posted at American Thinker blog

In April 2009, less than three months after Barack Obama took office, the Department of Homeland Security issued a report entitled “Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment.”

The super-duper-specialized Extremism and Radicalization Branch of the Homeland Environment Threat Analysis Division prepared the document, to help law enforcement officials on every level understand, “deter, prevent, preempt, or respond to terrorist attacks against the United States.”

The findings of the report did not address the threat of terrorist attacks from Muslim extremists who have infiltrated our military, our government and our neighborhoods. Instead the report clumped together what they called ‘rightwing extremists’ into a terrorist threat group that included “hate-oriented” individuals such as disgruntled ex-military personnel, Second Amendment advocates, and pro-lifers.

Also identified were individuals who could potentially pose a problem based on their concerns over the overreaching arm of federal government, the economic downturn, joblessness, the growing radical Muslim problem, and illegal immigration.  In essence, the Department of Homeland Security document was linking people with everyday anxieties to white supremacist nuts the government claimed were gearing up for violence because they resented an African-American president.

In the three-plus years that Barack Obama has occupied the office of president, he has actually exacerbated every trigger listed in the right-wing extremism document. Thanks to Obama’s policies, the American economy and job market have both deteriorated and worldwide Muslim unrest and radicalization has accelerated at lightning speed.

His handling of the war and national security and making the military a staging ground for gay issues has had a profound effect on military morale. Second Amendment rights have been threatened and pro-life taxpayers are being forced to shoulder the cost of contraceptives, sterilization and abortion. Barack Obama has pushed illegal immigration buttons on every front from suing Arizona to vetoing the state of Texas’ right to ask for identification before voting.

But above all President Obama has aggravated racial tension in this country.  His inappropriate involvement began with his impulsive remarks concerning the Henry Louis Gates incident in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Moreover, it continues to this day whenever he allows Attorney General Eric Holder and his Department of Justice to demonstrate racial partiality on issues such as not prosecuting the New Black Panther Party for threatening voters with billy clubs during the 2008 election in Philadelphia.

The DHS report said:

Rightwing extremists have capitalized on the election of the first African American president, and are focusing their efforts to recruit new members, mobilize existing supporters, and broaden their scope and appeal through propaganda, but they have not yet turned to attack planning

Which raises the question: Why would the President, in what can only be described as an underhanded and manipulative way, not to mention identical to his Henry Gates “acted stupidly” comment in both its tone and intended effect, stir the volatile racial unrest surrounding the heartbreaking shooting death in Florida of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin? It’s beyond comprehension.

The investigation into the incident has barely begun.  But if, at this early juncture, Obama has already made up his mind and if addressing senseless violence was why he initially spoke out, then why hasn’t he also condemned 20-year-old Tyrone Dale David Woodfork for sexually assaulting and beating to death 85-year-old Nancy Strait in Tulsa, Oklahoma who, quite frankly, could have been Obama’s maternal grandmother?

Instead, rather than quell the strife, Barack Obama saw fit to throw $5-a-gallon gasoline on an already raging fire by encouraging national “soul searching.” The President deliberately personalized the tragedy and made a comment that can only be described as either shockingly narcissistic or shamefully pandering when he said, “If I had a son he’d look like Trayvon Martin.”

In response to Trayvon’s death Reverend Jesse Jackson chimed in saying, “there is a mistaken assumption in some corners of America that all racial problems went away with the election of President Obama. There was this feeling that we were kind of beyond racism. That’s not true. His victory has triggered tremendous backlash.”

Along with “no justice, no peace,” the words of Jesse Jackson carried with them the following veiled threat: “The indifference to this kind of pain is just going to intensify the protests.” Jackson also shared his observation that in America “Blacks are under attack.”

Well if that’s the case then 90-year-old Caucasian Bob Strait being shot in the face with a BB gun and struggling for his life in an Oklahoma hospital indicates that whites are under attack too.

Someone should inform predictable race-baiters like Jesse Jackson, shameless rally-organizer Al Sharpton, and Barack Obama that every day, regardless of skin color, innocent people are harmed in all kinds of violent incidents. If these men were responsible leaders, what they all would be saying is, ‘Let’s wait for the police to do their job and finish the investigation, and stop jumping to conclusions.’ But they won’t cuz’ they’re not.

And despite an eyewitness report that may now cast the Zimmerman-Martin incident in a whole new light, the militant New Black Panther Party is still busily stapling posters on telephone poles demanding Trayvon Martin’s Hispanic shooter, George Zimmerman, be taken by citizens “Dead or Alive.”

So, while Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano tracks down 13,000 “unsafe hair dryers” on the border and Barack Obama, in between attending $38,500-a-head fundraisers, does his small part to help stoke racial turmoil, Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton are openly “capitalizing, recruiting, mobilizing, propagandizing and planning potential attacks.” But so far neither the DHS nor the President of the United States have addressed the danger being posed to homeland security by left-wing extremists stirring racial unrest in America’s already unstable black communities.

Sharpton and his crew descend on Arizona – American Thinker Blog – April 28, 2010

It is comforting to know Al Sharpton’s coif goes well with Arpaio provided pink underwear.  The Right Reverend Sharpton has expressed plans to descend onto the streets of Arizona to protest Governor Jan Brewer’s new immigration bill.  Sharpton appears eager to join Lillian Rodriguez Lopez of New York City’s Hispanic Federation, as well as other activists fighting the Arizona law, by participating in acts of civil disobedience.

Obama’s Harvard Law School professor, Charles Ogletree recently spoke about the National Action Network leader saying, “Sharpton is a conduit between the disadvantaged and powerful leaders.” Ogletree maintains the civil rights activist  “has access to both the streets and the suites, to make sure that the people who are voiceless, faceless and powerless finally have some say,” People such as ½ million voiceless, faceless and powerless criminals carousing the streets in Arizona?

According to Ogletree, on the streets Reverend Sharpton is President Obama’s “lightning rod.”Sharpton maintains that when invited to the White House it’s not as a mere visitor, but as an “administration ally.” Working in tandem, Barry designs the sandwich board and then sends Al Sharpton to lead the parade.

Now it appears as if Al has been commissioned to head westward toward the Grand Canyon to protect Obama’s true agenda.Mouthpiece Sharpton will speak on behalf of America’s post racial president who condemned Arizona’s immigration bill as being, “irresponsible,” “unfair,” and potentially “illegal.”

Inundated with immigrants from Mexico and Central America the state of Arizona instituted an immigration law that is the toughest in the nation.  The bill “toughens restrictions on hiring illegal immigrants for day labor and knowingly transporting them.”  The Arizona law also, “requires local police to stop and demand proof of citizenship from anyone suspected of being an illegal immigrant,” but critics such as Barry and Al believe imposing the law encourages racial profiling.

In response, Al is primed and pumped to disobey civil law, which is loosely defined as”an effort to induce change in policy or legislation, through passive resistance or other nonviolent means.”  Does Sharpton really believe defending those who live outside the law exposes true racial injustice?

Sharpton vows to descend on Arizona with “freedom walkers” from across the nation. “Where we will walk down the streets with no ID and submit ourselves to arrest.”  Sharpton asks, “what is the difference between us and any Mexican or any Haitian or anyone else?”  For U.S. citizens, there is no difference.  However, disparity exists if picked up without documentation, making catcalls in a foreign language, while riding shotgun in a Chevy El Camino.

Sharpton voices the opinion that, “This law is anti-American, it’s anti-Latino, its anti-immigrant, it is unconstitutional.” The always-debonair Al remains eager to scuff up a perfectly good pair of Berluti shoesto passionately prove, regardless of skin color, intruders breaking the law, should be allowed to continue breaking the law.

The Reverend Sharpton stated the Arizona bill is “like a malignant tumor. A tumor in the state of Arizona that if we allow it to grow and fester-will become a cancer in the entire country.”  Hey Al, a deadly tumor isn’t always a bad thing like when terminal cancer kills off a death row inmate before having to expend cost and energy to administer a lethal injection.

Either way, Sheriff Arpaio is on the job and ready outfit hair coiffed civil disobeyers in fashionable prison garb.  So before Al makes a firm commitment to be arrested in Arizona maybe the reverend should cover all bases by making sure inmates of Tent City have Joe’s permission to use hairspray.

Obama’s Hampton University Hula – American Thinker Blog – October 19, 2009

Who better to form a racial tolerance coalition than two native Hawaiians — one a White beauty queen from a historically Black university, the other an African-American President of a historically White Executive Office?

The saga began when Nikole Churchill, a 22-year-old, Asian-Italian was crowned homecoming queen of the traditionally Black college, Hampton University.  After donning the sash and balancing the rhinestone diadem upon her head it appears her coronation didn’t sit well with the student body because, “the vast majority of students at Hampton are Black … some worry Churchill isn’t representative of the typical Hampton student.” Appearing at a Howard University football game with her royal entourage, “Miss Hampton University” was jeered.

Barack Obama exudes such welcoming approachability that even young, female, Asian-Italian, nursing students, attending Black colleges feel camaraderie with him.  In an open letter to the President, Nikole appealed to him for help saying, “I feel as though you could relate to my situation.”

Of her win, Nikole told the President that, “It would be much easier to say that possibly some were not accepting of the news because I wasn’t the most qualified contestant; however, the true reason for the disapproval was because of the color of my skin.  I am not African-American.”  No doubt, even Barry would have to agree that admitting you’re not the most qualified for a job could lighten the load of expectation. In addition, who qualifies more than Obama to advise on the dilemma of being awarded a position based merely on skin color?

Nikole invited Obama to come to Hampton University to speak to the student body about how to, “…stop focusing so much on the color of skin.” Asking Obama to encourage people to disregard skin color and to focus only on qualifications is on par with asking Al Sharpton to speak on the dangers of using too much hairspray. During the run up to the election wasn’t it Obama who was obliged to remind supporters that his opponents were, “…going to try to make you afraid of me” saying, “He’s young and inexperienced and he’s got a funny name. And did I mention he’s Black?”

According to students Nicole is not a true Hampton University representative because she attended a satellite campus in Virginia Beach. Just like Nikole, Obama “came out of nowhere, with no connections.” A well-spoken community organizer with questionable associations from an outpost in Chicago–Obama might as well have come from Nikole’s  “10th floor high-rise, where students study nursing and hotel management.”

Nikole wowed the pageant judges with the hula.  Bedecked with a huge pink flower tucked behind her undeserving ear she cinched the deal the same way Obama hulas his way out of any challenge to his credibility with astounding oratory that rivals the technical skill of combining the kaholo step with ami hip roll.

Like Miss Churchill, Barry isn’t handling the fact that coherent Americans view him as nothing more than a college kid in a hula skirt. Like a heckling gaggle of disgruntled Hampton University students Americans are beginning “…doubt Obama’s abilities to represent.”  Our historic American President has been reduced to the status of a rebuffed Hampton University beauty queen viewing himself as, “…the victim of sinister domestic forces beyond his reach.” Lately, at public forums Obama snivels and whimpers so much that even those in the press believe “Poor President Obama” thinks, “Everybody is picking on him.”

In the end the letter from the ingénue may end up benefiting Obama.  Always eager to campaign, maybe he will buck up and join the determined homecoming queen as she, “…plans to be at as many events as possible so she can meet the students she now represents.” As second half of a powerful miscellany duo, Barack can join the homecoming queen on her crusade to utilize the hula to persuade everyone to stop the negativity – disregard lack of qualifications and instead “…be proud of the changes our nation is making towards accepting diversity.”
